This article presents the experimental results for determining the composition of the substrate, light and temperature for growing houseplants. Substrates were prepared in 8 different variants. The properties of the substrates were evaluated on the basis of 3 types: high, medium, and low. The amount of light required for the growth of houseplants is the result of a seasonal study. The effects of daily light fall and outdoor ambient temperature in the interior environment was studied for one year, and the results obtained were tabulated. According to the attitude of plants to light, they were divided into light-loving, semi-shade, shade-loving species.
This article highlights the results from the effect of changing the volume of containers on the growth and development of pistachio seedlings, as well as the effect of hydrogel, moisture-accumulating substances on the preservation of pistachio seedlings planted on plantations. According to the research, seedlings of pistachio, planted on containers 20x40 cm in size, reached an average height of 18.2 cm, an average diameter at the root collar of 4 mm and an average root length of 30.4 cm. Pistachio seedlings (planted in a permanent place) grown by this method reached safety 95%, which is 122% compared to control group. It is possible to maintain a high field moisture capacity for 2-3 years by adding moisture-accumulating substances - hydrogel to the soil. This allows retaining moisture sufficient for the preservation and growth of pistachios in dry conditions. The preservation of moisture is necessary for pistachio seedlings for good growth and development, branching, budding, to shorten the period of entry into fruiting and increase the yield. Studies, conducted on the effect of hydrogel on transplanted annual shows that the most effective rate is 100 grams/plant. At this application rate, the average plant growth was 20.5 cm, which is 113% compared to control group, the average growth of lateral branches is 6.5 cm, which is 118.0% compared to control group.
This article presents the results of research on the evaluation of rooting performance in the growing media of Ficus species in the interior. In the propagation of Ficus species, the vegetative method was selected and experimental work was carried out in growing media of 4 species. Sand (control), soil, Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) (4,000 mg/l) was obtained as cultivation media. The room temperature at which the experiments were placed was monitored and controlled. During rooting of cuttings, the room temperature was maintained at 18–24 ° C. Humidity was maintained at 40-50%. Soil and sand moisture were maintained at 30-40 degrees depending on temperature (based on the readings of the soil moisture meter). Observations were made and recorded every 3–5 days to determine the vegetative rooting rate of the Ficus Benjamin plant. Taking into account the transpiration of the plant and the evaporation of water into the air, 3-5 ml of water was poured in 10-12 days. As a result of these observations, the timing of vegetative rooting and irrigation norms were determined. Rooted plants were planted in peat, soil, humus feed, coarse sand substrate in a 1:1:1:1 ratio. In selecting these plants, a number of important indicators such as their growth patterns, leaf shape, habitat, drought tolerance, shade tolerance, soil moisture and composition were analysed and conclusions were drawn based on the findings.
This article presents the results of research on the study of the qualitative properties of the fruits of selected promising pistachio forms. When creating pistachio plantations, it is recommended to use varieties with different periods of flowering and fruit ripening. This arrangement reduces the likelihood of damage to the pistachio flowers by spring frosts, increases the chances of pollination and ensures that the harvest is carried out in stages. For the creation of plantations in forestry, promising forms 518-G, 521-G, 527-SH, 528-G, 52-RG, 21-SH and 59-G are recommended as the most productive, large-fruited and resistant to adverse environmental factors, and also pests.
