<p><strong>Abstract: </strong><em>Pappaseng</em> Bugis (the message of Bugis parents) is used as a way of life and social control because it contains content full of good meaning that can shape student behavior for the better. The purpose of this study is to describe the ethical values of Bugis <em>pappaseng</em>. The value of the results of this study was adopted as bibliocounseling content in the KIPAS model counseling step to improve the social skills of high school students. Research and development (R&D) research method with analysis of expert test data and prospective users through interrater agreement model. Based on data analysis, the ethical values found: <em>sipakatau, sipakalebbi'</em>, and <em>sipakainge</em>' cultures are used as bibliocounseling content in the KIPAS counseling step. The implementation process follows the KIPAS steps, namely Good News, Data Integration and Internalization, Action Planning, Action Actualization, and Celebration.</p><p> </p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> <em>Pappaseng</em> Bugis (pesan orang tua Bugis) digunakan sebagai pedoman hidup dan kontrol sosial karena berisi konten penuh makna kebaikan yang dapat membentuk perilaku siswa menjadi lebih baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai etika <em>pappasen</em>g Bugis. Nilai dari hasil penelitian ini diadopsi sebagai konten bibliokonseling dalam langkah konseling model KIPAS untuk meningkatkan kecakapan sosial siswa SMA. Metode penelitian <em>research and development</em> (R&D) dengan analisis data uji ahli dan calon pengguna melalui <em>interrater agreement model</em>. Berdasarkan analisis data, nilai etika yang ditemukan: budaya <em>sipakatau, sipakalebbi’, </em>dan<em> sipakainge’</em> yang<em> </em>dijadikan sebagai konten bibliokonseling dalam Langkah konseling KIPAS. Proses pelaksanaannya mengikuti langkah KIPAS, yaitu Kabar gembira, Integrasi data dan internalisasi, Perencanaan tindakan, Aktualisasi tindakan, dan Selebrasi.
