We have successfully developed and industrialized a new frequency-shift anti-islanding protection method using a twin-peak band-pass filter (BPF) for gridinterconnected photovoltaic (PV) systems. In this method, the power conditioner has a twin-peak BPF in a current feed back loop in place of the normal BPF. Our new method works perfectly for various kinds of loads such as resistance, inductive and capacitive loads connecterd to the PV system. Furthermore, because there are no mis-detections, the system enables the most effective generation of electric energy from solar cells. A power equipped with this protection was officially suitable for grid-interconnection. conditioner certified as
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
