Риски развития опухолевых процессов на фоне вирусных инфекций, а также факторы, определяющие эти риски или снижающие их, остаются недостаточно изученными. Цель-провести научный обзор исследований, посвященных оценке потенциала лектиновых NK-популяций (natural killers) клеточных популяций в организме с варьирующим набором лектиновых и других функционально значимых поверхностно-клеточных рецепторов против опухолей в условиях присутствия вирусов, в том числе эпидемически значимых. Показано, что в межклеточных коммуникациях и действии NK-популяций важную роль играет кофункционирование распознающих гликопаттерны лектиновых (базисных), Ig-подобных, цитотоксических и других эффекторных (настроечных) рецепторов и их лигандов, перераспределяющих цитокины. Сеть NK-популяций является перспективным ресурсом защиты организма, который необходимо учитывать при разработке новых противоопухолевых и антивирусных стратегий профилактического и лечебного профиля. Отсутствие в организме определенных NK-популяций с защитными функциями может рассматриваться как еще один-новый мультифакторный критерий риска вирусных и онкологических болезней у индивидуума или контингента индивидуумов региона. Приведенные данные могут быть использованы для разработки новых противоопухолевых, антивирусных и вакцинных препаратов и стратегий.
