The analysis of ways and methods for increase of efficiency of role of the business in economy stabilization, environment protection, improvement of population's life quality, and therefore social responsibility of business is a topical problem which solving has both theoretical and practical value. Research objective is development of theoretical propositions and methodical and practical recommendations for estimation of efficiency of enterprise restructuring on the basis of holistic marketing and degree of its social responsibility. Research tasks: clarification of definition and specificity of "business social responsibility" concept, development of the methodical approach to estimation of its condition, modelling of integral indicator of its development, clusterization of industrial enterprises on its basis. Methodology: The method of hierarchies' analysis is a proved tool for solving of multicriteria problems with hierarchical structures including complex system of factors affecting selection of solution for improvement of image of domestic enterprises. Results: Theoretical analysis of evolution of researches of corporate social responsibility was carried out; the essence of social responsibility concept of the Russian enterprise, its restructuring on the basis of holistic marketing, specificity of formation proceeding from analysis of its essence in foreign and domestic economic science were specified;-internal and external factors influencing development of corporate social responsibility of the organisations were determined, algorithm of multi-criteria estimation on the basis of hierarchies' analysis method taking into account most the representative indicators characterising efficiency of efforts was developed and tested. Conclusion / importance. The authors draw the conclusion that propositions developed in the work and received results can serve as a basis for development of enterprise management strategy focused on a long-term stable development taking into account interests of various interested parties of the company.
Purpose of the study. Small and medium enterprises in foreign countries provide about 50% of GDP and almost 60% of industrial employment. In terms of its role in the economy, entrepreneurship in Russia is inferior to many countries, including the United States, Ireland, Japan, Italy, etc. The main priorities for the development of the sphere of entrepreneurship in Russia include improving the conditions for doing business, simplifying tax reporting, access to concessional financing, and improving the procurement system and others. Among the negative aspects of state regulation that hinder the development of small and medium-sized businesses, administrative barriers can be singled out. According to experts, due to the presence of excessive administrative barriers, the size of the country's "frozen" potential for economic growth is 5-7%. In this regard, there is a need for a statistical assessment of the conditions for doing business at the regional level for the subsequent determination of directions for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the activities of state (municipal) authorities and identifying reserves for improving the business environment.Materials and methods. As an information base for the study, we used the data of the Federal State Statistics Service for 2019, as well as the results of monitoring the conditions for the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in the region, conducted by the State Treasury Institution of the Republic of Mordovia "Scientific Center for Socio-Economic Monitoring". The empirical research base included quantitative data from mass representative surveys of the business community for the period from 2014 to 2019. In addition to surveys of representatives of the business community, expert surveys were conducted, the selection of which was carried out on the basis of the experience of entrepreneurship and their belonging to formalized regional structures of entrepreneurs. The number of experts participating in the study ranged from 40 to 50 people.Results. As of January 1, 2019, there were 2,659.9 thousand small enterprises operating in the Russian Federation. Per 10,000 people, with an average of 156 in the Volga Federal District, the highest indicator was recorded in the Samara region (216 small enterprises), the lowest – in the Republic of Mordovia (86 small enterprises). The study demonstrates a steady decline in the scale of economic activity and the number of small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Mordovia. The study confirmed the existence of administrative barriers to entrepreneurial activity in the region, which are manifested both at the initial stage of doing business and during long-term conduct. Within the framework of the study, proposals were formulated to reduce administrative barriers and create a favorable business environment. In the current socio-economic situation, the main measures to support entrepreneurship are to reduce tax rates and introduce a preferential tax system. Support measures that are significant for business are also a decrease in interest rates, an increase in the availability of credit, the provision of incentives for energy resources, and control over the pricing policy of services of natural monopolies. Along with institutional measures, it is necessary to disseminate various forms of entrepreneurship training and mentoring, which are widespread in foreign practice.

The materials of the article contain an integral assessment of the level of development of e-business on the example of the regions of the Volga Federal District (VFD). As a result of calculating the private and local ranks of the values of the selected criteria, fourteen polygons of the level of e-business development were built by the number of regions in the district. The results obtained make it possible to ascertain the existence of a high degree of heterogeneity of the VFD regions in terms of the level of e-business development. The leading regions include the Republic of Tatarstan, the Perm Territory, and the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The outsider regions - the Republic of Mari El, the Republic of Mordovia and the Kirov region - are characterized by a low share of organizations that used the capabilities of the Intranet and Extranet in their activities, the lack of special software tools for managing sales of goods (works, services), limited use of software, in particular, ERP-, CRM and SCM-systems.
Purpose of the study. The research materials continue the author's series of articles devoted to the problems of the stakeholder approach. The social responsibility of business acts as a launching pad for fruitful cooperation and interaction between business structures and authorities. The concept of corporate social responsibility is very dynamic, characterized by constant transformation, change and enrichment with new ideas. So, if in the middle of the XX century it developed rather slowly, not finding a response in the business environment, then in the XXI century it is “preached” as the main business philosophy by most of the advanced countries. At the same time, a characteristic feature of existing scientific approaches is the emphasis on technocratic and economic positions and the complete absence of approaches based on the relationship between business and stakeholders. However, such approaches from the author's point of view are insufficient for the entire range of requirements imposed by the external and internal environment on modern business. The ambiguity of the interpretation of the concept under study made it possible to state the complexity of this category and its multidimensional nature. In this regard, there is a need for a comprehensive statistical assessment of the degree of business socialization and the choice of appropriate tools for this.Materials and methods. The statistical assessment of the degree of business social responsibility is based on local criteria, combined into five blocks. The presented system of criteria characterizes the activities of the business taking into account the requirements of the stakeholders. At the same time, the list of criteria can be adjusted when socio-economic trends and problems of society change. The information base of the study was the annual and financial reports of regional enterprises, the results of expert assessments. The hierarchy analysis method and the graphical polygon (radar) method were used as a tool for assessing the degree of business socialization.Results. The article concretizes the concept of social and economic responsibility of business. The author's approach covers the idea of a responsible partnership based on the interaction of business with a wide range of interested groups involved in active and passive forms of participation in its operations. The variety of interests of stakeholders representing various subjects of market interaction emphasizes the multi-criteria nature of the category of “social and economic responsibility of business”. Statistical tools are fully capable of providing an assessment of the entire spectrum of signs of corporate social responsibility. The integral indicator of the degree of social responsibility, built on the basis of the hierarchy analysis method, made it possible to distinguish four degrees of business socialization: low, moderate, noticeable and high. For each degree of socialization, characteristic features are determined. The results of the study showed that as the degree of social responsibility grows, business performance indicators increase and its well-being in the long term depends on the coordination of the interests of key participants in corporate relations. An integral assessment of the degree of business socialization was carried out according to twenty-six local criteria. As a result of calculating the private and local ranks of the values of the corresponding criteria, fifteen polygons of the degree of socialization of the regional business were built, included in the sample. The results obtained make it possible to ascertain the existence of a high degree of heterogeneity of regional enterprises in terms of the investigated integral indicator. The leaders in terms of social responsibility are JSC “Teplichnoye”, OJSC “Mordovcement”, OJSC “Elektrovypryamitel”, OJSC “Lato”. Outsiders include OJSC Cheese-Making Plant “Ichalkovsky”, Ltd “Lisma”, OJSC “Stankostroitel”, OJSC “RubEx”. Among the features of regional enterprises, one can single out the heterogeneity in the distribution of indicators along the radial straight lines. JSC “Teplichnoye” is characterized by sharp fluctuations in rank values, which is most active in interaction with consumers, its own personnel, but also stands out as one of the smallest values of the block associated with relationships with business partners. A similar situation is observed among outsider enterprises. The proposed methodology can be used as a tool for a comprehensive study of existing trends in the practice of socially responsible business behavior, characteristics of the results achieved, as well as identifying problem areas that focus additional attention.
