Mit 5 Abbildungen) g$ 1.I n einer friiheren Arbeit des Verf.') wurden die Bedingungen festgelegt, unter welchen eine phosphoreszenzf~hige Einlagerung organischer Leuchtstoffe in wasserhaltigen anorganischen Grundmaterialien erfolgen kann. Gleichzeitig damit war ein allgemein gangbarer Weg zur Herstellung organischer Phosphore gegeben. -Die als ,,Zementation" bekannte chemische Reaktion entspricht gleichfalls allen diesen Redingungen. In der folgenden Arbeit werden deshalb diese Vorgiinge zur Priifung unserer Voraussetzungen und zur Herstellung hochaktiver . Phosphore beniitzt.Dies schien um so wiinschenswerter, da die groBe Zahl der in letzter Zeit erschienenen Arbeiten iiber Fluoreszenz und Phosphoreszenz ein steigendes Interesse fur das Verhalten organischer Leuchtstoffe in verschiedenen Grundniaterialien erkennen lie6 und jede neue Erfahrungstatsache auf diesem Gebiete einen Beitrag zur weiteren Klarung des Problems iiber das Zustandekommen der Phosphoreszenz und uber den Mechanismus des Phosphoreszenzvorganges liefert.Die bisher bekannten organischen Phosphore zeigen gegeniiber den anorganischen gewisse Eigenheiten. Miahrend bei letzteren stundenlanges Nachlenchten nicht ungewohnlich ist, konnte bei ersteren das Abklingen im giinstigsten Falle bis jetzt nur etwa 2 Min. lang verfolgt werden. Auch die so auffallende Erscheinung der ,,Lichtenergie-Aufspeicherung" bei tiefen Temperaturen und Abgabe derselben unter hellem Aufleuchten bei raschem Erhitzen war an organischen Phosphoren nur vereinzelt unter extreinen Bedingnngenund da auch nur zumeist als schwer beobachtbares kurz 1) M.
