Daya tarik wisata Loang Baloq di Kota Mataram memiliki diversifikasi produk wisata yang terbagi menjadi tiga area, yakni darat, laut dan muara. Namun secara praktiknya, daya tarik wisata Loang Baloq hanya dikenal oleh wisatawan lokal, tidak demikian untuk wisatawan mancanegara dan nusantara, sehingga manfaat pariwisata belum sepenuhnya dirasakan oleh masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi komponen pendukung daya tarik wisata Loang Baloq di Kota Mataram. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara (purposive sampling) dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa DTW Loang baloq memiliki keunikan dan ciri khas atraksi alam dan budaya sebagai modal dasar untuk menarik wisatawan doemestik dan mancanegara. Namun masih terdapat permasalahan yang menjadi penghambat perkembangan daya tarik wisata, seperti rendahnya SDM, manajemen pengelolaan sampah yang kurang baik dan fasilitas yang rusak.
This study aims to determine the role model of local community participation in the post-pandemic Rinjani geopark sport tourism festival. The pandemic has caused a shift in tourism to focus on Nature, Eco, Wellness, and Adventure (NEWA). For this reason, the local community of Sembalun Village, a key gateway to an arduous trek up Mount Rinjani in West Nusa Tenggara Province, initiated a sport tourism event due to the natural resource potentials. Hence, this qualitative descriptive research unveils several motivations that underlie the festival's implementation, including economic, cultural, and natural environmental factors—a role model for local community participation based on these driving factors with a Bottom-Top approach.
This study aims to find out how the role and strategy of traditional village community prailiu attract tourist visit interest in east sumba regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative approach with three data collection techniques. First, field observation in traditional village Prailiu. Second, Interview with informants (pusposive sampling). Third, documentation that is related to traditional village prailiu. Data analysis technique uses SWOT analysis to formulate traditional village community strategy prailiu in attracting tourist visit interest in east sumba regency. This study shows that traditional village community has firm desire and commitment in developing tourism village. Then, there are a number of alternative strategies that have been formulated to attract tourist visit interest based on SWOT analysis namely : (1) S-O strategy such as tourism product development, Having a partnership with sector private, Increasing production quality of Tenun (woven fabric), increasing promotion and marketing. (2) S-T strategy such as making tourism package and conducting strengthen product packaging. (3) W-O strategy such as developing SDM, having partnership between woven fabric craftsman and expanding woven fabric marketing network. (4) W-T Strategy such as constructing public awareness, making serftification CHSE, providing health protocol training and providing training about tourism village management.
This study aims to determine the significance of gastronomic in improving the destination's image and to determine the factors that attract tourists to Ampenan Beach, Lombok Island. Researchers used a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach, which is a strategy for analyzing data by describing the data that has been collected. The method of data collecting consisted of three steps: first, observation in the form of nonparticipatory observation at Ampenan Beach, Lombok. Second, interviews with 10 informants representing the public sector, managers, and the commercial sector by means of purposive sampling, and 20 tourists by means of incidental sampling. Third, the compilation of material and papers pertaining to Ampenan Beach tourism attractions. According to the results, gastronomic plays a part in enhancing the image of Ampenan Beach as a tourist attraction. This is seen by the number of tourists who visit in order to sample the local cuisine, and by the number of tourists who frequently return. Tourists are satisfied by the merchants' commitment to provide superior service. Moreover, the quality of the food's flavor is a feature that attracts travelers to Ampenan Beach, where they may experience a variety of Lombok-style spicy regional dishes.
Masyarakat merupakan elemen kunci dan subyek dalam pengembangan pariwisata. Hal tersebut dikarenakan masyarakat lokal merupakan pemilik langsung atraksi wisata yang dikunjungi sekaligus dikonsumsi wisatawan. Dengan demikian, perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi di daerah wisata akan bersentuhan langsung dengan kepentingan mereka. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan jajak sikap ada tidaknya kehendak bersama (common will) masyarakat untuk mengembangkan pariwisata di Pantai Loang Baloq. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap masyarakat terhadap pengembangan Pantai Loang Baloq di Kota Mataram. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi ke Pantai Loang Baloq, studi dokumentasi berupa dokumen yang bekaitan dengan Pantai Loang Baloq dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 masyarakat (accidental sampling) di sekitar Pantai Loang Baloq, Kota Mataram. Teknik analisis data menggunakan skala likert, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat setuju terhadap pengembangan Pantai Loang Baloq dengan harapan dapat menjadi lokomotif ekonomi dan ajang untuk mempromosikan Pantai Loang Baloq pada level internasional. Namun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa masyarakat yang tidak setuju terhadap pengembangan Pantai Loang Baloq. Hal tersebut dikarenakan mereka menganggap pariwisata lebih banyak mendatangkan mudarat dibandingkan manfaat.
