The characteristics of the system and conditions of the spectrophotometric determination were evaluated. The proposed technique was applied to the analysis of pure raw materials in concentrations ranging from 2-14 ug .ml-' in case of oxamniquine, mebendazole, f lubendazole, diloxanide furoate and metronidazole, while the concentration range was 1 -1 2 u g . m l -l i n c a s e of thiabendazole and 4-16 ug.ml-' in case of tinidazole. The F I A technique was also successfully applied to the analysis of pharmaceutical dosage forms containing the corresponding drugs. The results obtained were compared statistically with those obtained by applying the official procedures, furtheremore, the validity of the results was assessed by applying the standard addition technique.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
