Пирогова, Україна Мета роботи-дослідити стан ядерної ДНК і проліферативну активність клітин букального епітелію в пацієнтів, які мають дефекти зубних рядів і використовують часткові знімні пластинкові протези, котрі виготовлені з акрилових або термопластичних пластмас. Матеріали та методи. Здійснили дослідження показників клітинного циклу букального епітелію в 70 осіб. Серед них-23 пацієнти з протезуванням акриловими пластинковими протезами, 23 особи з протезуванням на основі термопластичних пластмас. Групу порівняння становили 24 клінічно здорові особи без дефектів зубних рядів. Уміст ДНК в ядрах клітин букального епітелію людини визначали методом проточної цитометрії. Результати. Показники клітинного циклу букального епітелію групи контролю свідчать про високу інтенсивність оновлення клітин у нормі. На це вказує чималий відсоток подій, що перебували в інтервалі Sub-G1, який характеризує апоптоз, а також те, що більша частина клітин перебували в інтервалі S + G2/M. За допомогою методу проточної цитометрії виявлено, що відсоток клітин у стані апоптозу більший у пацієнтів, які користуються протезами з базисом акрилових пластмас, виявили початкові ознаки зроговіння, що підтверджує збільшення клітин в інтервалі Sub-G1, а також їхнє зменшення в інтервалі S-G2/M. Висновки. Виявлено прямий негативний вплив протезів з акриловими базисами на складний механізм функціонування слизової оболонки порожнини рота. Відсутність негативного впливу протезів із термопластичними базисами на клітинний цикл зумовлює їхню суттєву перевагу над ЧЗПП з акриловими базисами.
