Otrzymywanie i zastosowanie funkcjonalizowanych nape³niaczy hybrydowych SiO 2 /F-SF POSS w ¿elowych elektrolitach polimerowych Streszczenie -Metod¹ odparowania rozpuszczalnika wytwarzano uk³ady hybrydowe SiO 2 /POSS. Badania elektrochemiczne obejmowa³y pomiary przewodnictwa w³aoeciwego technik¹ spektroskopii impedancyjnej w szerokim zakresie temperatury oraz wyznaczenie okien potencja³owych technik¹ liniowej woltametrii cyklicznej. Stabilnooeae anodowa ¿eli rooenie nieznacznie w wyniku dodania nape³niaczy POSS do membran PVdF/HFP. Badane nape³niacze wykazuj¹ obiecuj¹ce w³aoeciwooeci w kontekoecie przysz³ych prac badawczo-rozwojowych nad nowatorskimi elektrolitami sta³ymi do akumulatorów litowych o zwiêkszonym poziomie bezpieczeñstwa. S³owa kluczowe: wielooecienne oligomeryczne silseskwioksany (POSS), SiO 2 , ¿elowe elektrolity polimerowe.
PREPARATION OF FUNCTIONALIZED SiO 2 /F-SF POSS HYBRID FILLERS AND THEIR APPLI-CATION IN GEL POLYMER ELECTROLYTESSummary -Hybrid SiO 2 /POSS fillers were obtained using the method based on solvent evaporation. Octakis({1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4-octafluoropentyloxypropyl}dimethylsiloxy) octasilsesquioxane (F-SF POSS) was used to modify the surface of silica, hydrated or prepared via emulsion method. The effectiveness of modification was evaluated by FT-IR spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance ( 29 Si and 13 C CP MAS NMR). The parameters of porous structure of the prepared hybrid fillers, such as surface area BET, mean pore diameter and pore volume were determined. The hybrid products were subjected to dispersive analysis (non-invasive backscattering method, NIBS) and morphological characterization (using transmission electron microscopy -TEM). The obtained hybrid systems were used as additives in gel polymer electrolytes, prepared by activation of dry composite membranes in a liquid solution of lithium salt...
This paper discusses the impact of the structure and properties of three different polymer binders: polyvinylidene fluoride, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and polyvinyl alcohol, on the electrochemical properties of spherical graphite anodes for Li-ion batteries. Electrochemical tests indicate that the nature of polyvinylidene fluoride contributes in decreasing the cycle life of graphite electrodes in contrast to effective water-based binders. This study demonstrates the possibility of manufacturing graphite-based electrode for Li-ion batteries that cycle longer and use water in the processing, instead of hazardous organic solvents like N-methylpyrrolidone, thereby improving performance, reducing cost and protecting the environment.
Electrospun biodegradable polylactide/poly 3-hydroxybutyrate (PLA/PHB) membranes were prepared using the electrospinning method. The conformation of the biodegradable membranes was verified by SEM, attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), XRD technique, and DSC. For all electrospun PLA/PHB biodegradable membranes a nonwovenen, fibers network structure was observed. The high level of absorption of the liquid phase were observed for blended PLA/PHB biodegradable polymer membranes. Gel polymer electrolytes with polymer matrices containing 70% PLA and 30% PHB showed the highest porosity and liquid phase absorption abilities, and, as a consequence, also the highest values of conductivity amongst all tested polymer electrolytes (1,5·10-2 Scm-1 at 25°C).
