A 6 s t~a c t -This paper presents a new real-time scheduling protocol for semantic concurrency control of objectoriented database systems. Although recent results about object-oriented serializability are efficient in the semantic concurrency contorol, these results still lack in real-time schedulability. Our new scheduling protocol takes into accounts not only object-oriented serializability but also real-time schedulability. Our protocol also has capabilities to avoid "the worst casen in which the early invoked transaction waits for long time, and avoid deadlock in the scheduling of the object-oriented database systems.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
