Resumen
La perforación esofágica es un proceso patológico con una alta mortalidad incluso con un diagnóstico rápido y tratamiento adecuado. Dentro de las causas de perforación esofágica, se encuentra el síndrome de Boerhaave o perforación esofágica barogénica. Presentamos el caso de un paciente de 57 años que acude a urgencias por vómitos y dolor torácico, siendo diagnosticado mediante TC de perforación esofágica. Se deben seguir los principios quirúrgicos fundamentales de diagnóstico rápido, control eficaz de la fuga, erradicación de la sepsis mediastínica y soporte óptimo en un plazo no mayor a 24 horas.
Resumen
Presentamos el caso de un varón de 65 años que sufre una perforación gástrica secundaria a maniobras de reanimación cardiopulmonares tras sufrir una parada cardiorespiratoria en su domicilio. La rotura gástrica tras RCP es una complicación muy infrecuente, con una incidencia estimada del 0,1%, siendo especialmente raros los casos atribuidos a la ventilación boca a boca, con muy pocos casos publicados en la literatura científica. Pese a su baja frecuencia este evento requiere de un diagnóstico y tratamiento rápido, debido a las connotaciones sobre la morbilidad y la mortalidad que conlleva.
