New results for the complete one-loop contributions to the masses and mixing effects in the Higgs sector are obtained for the MSSM with complex parameters using the Feynman-diagrammatic approach. The full dependence on all relevant complex phases is taken into account, and all the imaginary parts appearing in the calculation are treated in a consistent way. The renormalization is discussed in detail, and a hybrid on-shell/DR scheme is adopted. We also derive the wave function normalization factors needed in processes with external Higgs bosons and discuss effective couplings incorporating leading higher-order effects. The complete one-loop corrections, supplemented by the available two-loop corrections in the Feynman-diagrammatic approach for the MSSM with real parameters and a resummation of the leading (s)bottom corrections for complex parameters, are implemented into the public Fortran code FeynHiggs 2.5. In our numerical analysis the full results for the Higgs-boson masses and couplings are compared with various approximations, and CP-violating effects in the mixing of the heavy Higgs bosons are analyzed in detail. We find sizable deviations in comparison with the approximations often made in the literature. *

We present a search for a Higgs boson decaying to two W bosons in pp collisions at √ s = 1.96TeV center-of-mass energy. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb −1 collected with the CDF II detector. We find no evidence for production of a Higgs boson with mass between 110 and 200 GeV/c 2 , and determine upper limits on the production cross section. For the mass of 160 GeV/c 2 , where the analysis is most sensitive, the observed (expected) limit is 0.7 pb (0.9 pb) at 95% Bayesian credibility level which is 1.7 (2.2) times the standard model cross section.

The NOvA experiment has seen a 4.4σ signal ofν e appearance in a 2 GeVν μ beam at a distance of 810 km. Using 12.33 × 10 20 protons on target delivered to the Fermilab NuMI neutrino beamline, the experiment recorded 27ν μ →ν e candidates with a background of 10.3 and 102ν μ →ν μ candidates. This new antineutrino data are combined with neutrino data to measure the parameters jΔm 2 32 j ¼ 2.48 þ0.11 −0.06 × 10 −3 eV 2 =c 4 and sin 2 θ 23 in the ranges from (0.53-0.60) and (0.45-0.48) in the normal neutrino mass hierarchy. The data exclude most values near δ CP ¼ π=2 for the inverted mass hierarchy by more than 3σ and favor the normal neutrino mass hierarchy by 1.9σ and θ 23 values in the upper octant by 1.6σ.

We present a new measurement of the inclusive forward-backward tt production asymmetry and its rapidity and mass dependence. The measurements are performed with data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.3 fb −1 of pp collisions at √ s = 1.96 TeV, recorded with the CDF II Detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. Significant inclusive asymmetries are observed in both the laboratory frame and the tt rest frame, and in both cases are found to be consistent with CP conservation under interchange of t andt. In the tt rest frame, the asymmetry is observed to increase with the tt rapidity difference, ∆y, and with the invariant mass M tt of the tt system. Fully corrected parton-level asymmetries are derived in two regions of each variable, and the asymmetry is found to be most significant at large ∆y and M tt . For M tt ≥ 450 GeV/c 2 , the parton-level asymmetry in the tt rest frame is A tt = 0.475 ± 0.114 compared to a next-to-leading order QCD prediction of 0.088 ± 0.013.

We present updated results from the NOvA experiment for ν μ → ν μ and ν μ → ν e oscillations from an exposure of 8.85 × 10 20 protons on target, which represents an increase of 46% compared to our previous publication. The results utilize significant improvements in both the simulations and analysis of the data. A joint fit to the data for ν μ disappearance and ν e appearance gives the best-fit point as normal mass hierarchy, Δm 2 32 ¼ 2.44 × 10 −3 eV 2 =c 4 , sin 2 θ 23 ¼ 0.56, and δ CP ¼ 1.21π. The 68.3% confidence intervals in the normal mass hierarchy are Δm 2 32 ∈ ½2.37; 2.52 × 10 −3 eV 2 =c 4 , sin 2 θ 23 ∈ ½0.43; 0.51 ∪ ½0.52; 0.60, and δ CP ∈ ½0; 0.12π ∪ ½0.91π; 2π. The inverted mass hierarchy is disfavored at the 95% confidence level for all choices of the other oscillation parameters.

We have measured the W -boson mass MW using data corresponding to 2.2 fb −1 of integrated luminosity collected in pp collisions at √ s = 1.96 TeV with the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. Samples consisting of 470 126 W → eν candidates and 624 708 W → µν candidates yield the measurement MW = 80 387 ± 12stat ± 15syst = 80 387 ± 19 MeV/c 2 . This is the most precise measurement of the W -boson mass to date and significantly exceeds the precision of all previous measurements combined.
