Roll to roll process is one of the famous printing techniques that are possible to create graphic and electronic device on variable substrate by using conductive ink. Graphene is an example of material that can be used as printing ink which usually used in producing micro-scale electronic devices. Here, it is proposed that extending roll to roll printing technique into the multiple micro-scale printing fine solid line onto substrate by using graphene as a printing ink. Flexography is a high speed roll to roll printing technique commonly used in paper printing industry. And this study elaborates the feasibility of graphene as a printing ink use in combination of flexography and micro-contact or micro-flexo printing for micro fine solid line. This paper will illustrates the review of graphene in producing multiple micro-solid lines printing capability for the application of printing electronic, graphic and bio-medical.
Value Engineering (VE) is important tool to company in global market competition to providing a demand. VE process can provide for company continued growth and prosperity if applied properly. VE is defines as the systematic application of recognized techniques, which identify the function of product or service, establishes a monetary value for that function and provides the necessary function reliability at the lowest overall cost. This paper will presents a process on how to apply VE tools in manufacturing company. Therefore, we would like to study the application of VE approach method and at the same time investigating how much cost reduction can be done. The function of product will be defining and cost reduction is suggested by proposing alternative method to achieve that function. However the function quality is never degrading. The result is showed that 60% cost reduction can be proposed.
Abstract-Imprint lithography process is a unique printing technique that create graphic, electronic and biomedical printed on substrates. PET plastics are an example of materials that can be used as printing substrate in producing nano-scale electronic and medical devices. Here, it is proposed that extending imprint lithography technique into the multiple nano-structure printing fine solid lines onto substrate. Imprint lithography is a low cost printing technique commonly used in manufacturing and printing industry. This study exhibit successful fine solid lines imprinting below 1 micrometer in line width, gap and height on polyethylene-terephthalate (PET) substrate. This paper illustrates the use of imprint lithography method in producing multiple nano-solid lines printing capability as application of printing electronic, graphic and bio-medical.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
