Аннотация. В статье рассматривается актуальность целенаправленного развития вестибулярной устойчивости студентов многопрофильного вуза в процессе физического воспитания. Современная профессиональная среда предъявляет повышенные требования к уровню здоровья специалистов, нарушения функции вестибулярной сенсорной системы вследствие гиподинамии и ряда других причин бывают настолько выражены, что человек полностью теряет профпригодность. Многочисленными исследованиями установлено, что этого можно избежать путем специальной тренировки профессиональных качеств и, в частности, вестибулярной устойчивости. Проведенное исследование позволило теоретически обосновать и экспериментально проверить эффективность развития вестибулярной устойчивости студентов на основе подвижных и спортивных игр с использованием игрового и соревновательного методов физического воспитания. Разработана методика контроля и развития вестибулярной устойчивости студентов на основе комплексных эстафет в процессе учебных занятий по футболу. В результате исследования получены новые данные об уровнях вестибулярной устойчивости студентов и эффективности применения комплексных эстафет. Установлены основные методические условия развития вестибулярной устойчивости, которые имеют практическое значение для совершенствования организации процесса физического воспитания в вузе.Ключевые слова: вестибулярная устойчивость, вестибулярные нарушения, профессиональная деятельность, студенты, учебные занятия, футбол, комплексные эстафеты, методика.
