Perceived organizational justice is an important factor for prediction of various aspects of OCBs. This research investigates the extent to which equity sensitivity moderates the relationship between perceived organizational justice and OCBs. It was hypothesized that distributive, procedural, informational and interpersonal justice are related to OCBs (helping behavior, civic virtue, and sportsmanship) and equity sensitivity has been moderate these relationships. Research sample group were 123 employees of a petrochemical company in Iran. The moderated hierarchical regression analysis indicated that equity sensitivity moderates the relationship between perceived distributive organizational justice with civic virtue and sportsmanship. That is, in entitled group (and no in equity sensitive or benevolent groups) distributive justice positively and significantly related to civic virtue and sportsmanship (P<0.05). Also results indicated that equity sensitivity moderates the relationship between perceived procedural organizational justice and sportsmanship. That is, in an equity sensitive group (and no in entitled or benevolent groups) procedural justice positively and significantly related to sportsmanship (P<0.05).
Abstract. Personality traits are very important factors for research and theory and also for understanding various employees' behavior at work settings. The aim of the current inquiry was to investigate the relationships between emotional exhaustion and deviant behaviors with consider moderating effects of big five personality factors among employees of an public sector organization in Tehran, Iran. Using a simple random sampling method, a sample of two hundred and sixty five employees responded the emotional exhaustion, deviant behaviors, and big five personality traits questionnaires. The results revealed that extroversion, agreeableness and neuroticism moderate the relationship between emotional exhaustion and deviant behaviors. That is, in high extroversion and agreeableness, emotional exhaustion not significantly related to deviant behaviors, while in high neuroticism, emotional exhaustion positively and significantly related to deviant behaviors. Result of the current investigation showed that agreeableness and extroversion are two protective personality traits, and neuroticism is a personality risk factor in the relationship between emotional exhaustion and deviant behaviors.
Abstract.Organizational ethical climate components are important factors for employees and organizations. In this regard, this study was administered to investigate the role of organizational ethical climate components for organizational empathy and civic virtue. The research design was correlation one and the sample consisted of 278 employees of railway company, Esfahan, Iran. The research instruments were organizational ethical climate questionnaire, organizational empathy scale and civic virtue questionnaire. The research hypotheses were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and structural equation modeling. Furthermore of simple relationships between organizational ethical climate components with civic virtue and organizational empathy, the results of structural equation modeling indicated that during a series of relationships, caring and independence associate with civic virtue and rules and law along with service associate with organizational empathy. After all, the results of this study indicated that civic virtue and organizational empathy can be considered as variables with ethical based in the workplaces.
