91Resumen -Las tecnologías de la información y comunicación se extienden rápidamente al ámbito de la Medicina, lo que permite disponer de la historia clínica del paciente en forma clara, segura y accesible, además de ofrecer ayudas en el uso de la información específica y oportuna. Se evalúa la receptividad y el aprendizaje de un programa (PRAXIS de Informed Ltd.) que registra datos del paciente en consulta, datos que utiliza para mejorar el pensamiento médico, a modo de órtesis mental. Métodos: Encuesta a 18 estudiantes de medicina que asistieron al Curso de Informática Médica 2017 de la Universidad de la República. Resultados: 50% piensa que el idioma inglés es una dificultad para usar PRAXIS, 40% indica como un problema el uso del formato "subjective, objective, assessment, plan" (SOAP), pero 72% considera PRAXIS útil o muy útil para resolver casos clínicos, 78% amigable o muy amigable y 62% considera que la clase cumplió el objetivo de enseñarles su uso. Conclusiones: Para instruir a todo el grupo se necesita más de una clase de PRAXIS para poderlo poner en práctica. Es necesario además desarrollar una versión en español adaptada a la práctica médica en América Latina. Con PRAXIS el médico dispone de una herramienta potente de ayuda mental basada en su propia casuística.Palabras clave -entrenamiento médico-informático, historia clínica electrónica, informática médica, órtesis mental, PRAXIS. I. INTRODUCCIÓNDurante las últimas dos décadas, la utilización de la informática como herramienta de ayuda en las diferentes áreas de la salud ha tenido gran auge. La informática biomédica es ya un componente frecuente en los servicios de salud en el mundo para la atención médica y para el procesamiento de los datos estadísticos de pacientes o de proyectos de investigación. Un ejemplo del impacto de esta herramienta ha sido la creación del expediente clínico electrónico [1].La historia clínica electrónica (HCE) está sustituyendo el expediente tradicional en papel cada vez con más fuerza, ya que la necesidad de almacenar y manejar la información en forma eficiente y auditable se obtiene utilizando tecnologías de la información hechas con tal fin [2].Las principales ventajas descritas de la HCE son que la información es más accesible, clara y segura, y que permite el intercambio de información entre diversos servicios y hospitales de forma rápida y práctica. Los clínicos pueden tener el beneficio de ver todo bajo la forma de una misma HCE cuando los diferentes efectores de saludé operan bajo estándares de interoperabilidad, como los que emana el programa SALUD.UY. Algunos de los beneficios del uso de una HCE interoperable son los tiempos de espera menores para la atención, la disminución de los errores médicos, la facilidad de investigación y grandes ahorros [3].A pesar de que la HCE ha mostrado ser una forma eficiente y segura para mejorar la calidad de la atención médica, su adopción enfrenta todavía resistencia al cambio por parte de algunos profesionales de la salud.
