The crystal and molecular structure of 5H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine-4-thione has been determined from X-ray diffraction data. The space group is P21/c with 4 molecules in a unit cell of dimensions a = 13.90 (5), b= 12.00 (3), e= 3"84 (7) A, 8= 102.00 (2) °. The 1373 intensities were measured on a Siemens three-circle automatic diffractometer. The refinement was carried out by least-squares calculations including anisotropic temperature factors. The final R value is 0.0684. The molecules are linked to each other by a network of hydrogen and van der Waals bonds.
The crystal structure of salbutamol sulphate has been determined from X-ray diffraction data. The crystallographic data are a = 28.069 (5), b = 6-183 (1), c = 16.914 (2) A, ,8 --81.19 (1) °. The space group is Cc with two independent molecules and eight molecules in the unit cell. The refinement, carried out by least-squares calculations including anisotropic temperature factors, gave a final R value of 0.067. Hydrogen bonds are mainly responsible for the crystalline cohesion.
The crystal and molecular structure of N-butylhyoscine bromide methanol solvate (C21Ha0BrNOa.CH3OH) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P2~ with unit-cell parameters a = 7.555 (1), b = 12.928 (1), c = 9.244 (4) ,/k,/7 = 90.15 (1) °, M, = 449.49, D~ = 1.28 g cm -3 and Z = 2. The intensities of 2810 reflections were measured on a Nonius CAD-4F automatic diffractometer. The structure was solved by direct and heavy-atom methods and refined by leastsquares calculations to an R of 0.043. The bromide anion and methanol of crystallization are responsible for the crystalline cohesion.
Ethionamide (2-ethyl-4-thiocarbamoylpyridine) hydrochloride crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/e, with cell dimensions a= 8.82+ 0.02, b= 13.51 _+ 0.02, e= 10.28 + 0.02/~, p= 127 ° + 20" and 4 molecules per cell. The refinement was carried out by least-squares calculations including anisotropic temperature factors. The final R is 0.118. The structure is built with layers of molecules parallel to (100); within these layers, the molecules are linked together by hydrogen bonds.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
