A Unidade de Medição Fasorial (UMF) é um equipamento que possibilita a medição sincronizada da tensão de sequência positiva e corrente dos sistemas elétricos em microssegundos. As UMFs são instaladas em subestações do sistema de energia e suas medições são enviadas e processadas pelo Concentrador de Dados Fasoriais, do inglês, Phasor Data Concentrator (PDC). Nos últimos anos, diferentes métodos para encontrar a alocação ótima das UMFs foram abordados na literatura. A contribuição desta pesquisa é, por meio de um Algoritmo Evolucionário, encontrar a alocação ótima simultânea das UMFs e PDCs, considerando a quantidade de canais das UMFs, a distância entre as UMFs e os PDCs e considerar a situação de observabilidade para contingência n-1. Com a metodologia proposta foi possivel encontrar a alocação das UMFs e PDCs para os sistemas de 14 e 30 barras do IEEE.
