Results from this review update correspond closely with previous findings, in that all of the successful interventions had lengthy postnatal support or an education component. More studies assessed intervention fidelity than in the previous review; however, there was little discussion of maternal body-mass index. While a pattern of successful interventions is beginning to emerge, further research is needed to provide a robust evidence base to inform future interventions, particularly with overweight and obese women.
This study produced new parenting guidelines that are supported by research evidence and/or international experts, which can now be promoted in Western English-speaking communities to help parents protect their children from depression and anxiety disorders.
In a survey of predacious (nematophagous) fungi in New Zealand, 609 records comprising 317 Hyphomycetes, 231 Zoopagales, and 61 endozoic parasites were recovered from 56% of a total of 700 samples of surface soils and associated organic material examined. Eight Hyphomycete species, two Zoopagales, and five endozoic parasites, mainly common British and American species, were identified. Some apparent environmental preferences and relationships of these fungi are discussed, and their possible origin in New Zealand is considered.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
