A case of cerebral toxoplasmosis in an AIDS-affected patient is described. CT scan showed unusual findings suggesting an infiltrative process, while serum antibody titres to toxoplasma were not raised. Cerebral toxoplasmosis should be considered in AIDS-patients even under these circumstances, and biopsy could be useful in order to undertake adequate treatment.
