Abstract-This paper represents basic discussion for one of the latest advances in the technology, known as Intelligent User Interface (IIUI) which is a combination of two major fields of computer science, namely, HCI & Artificial Intelligence. The paper first discusses basic definitions, motivation to this research and UIMS (User Interface Management System) along with example of user interface models to understand user interfaces in detail. The four major classes (with their examples) of these interfaces have been taken as a method for this study. The overall discussion summarizes some basic principles used to create these interfaces, components that are important in the generation of IUIs and decision making process in IUI for the reader to understand working of IIUIs.
Abstract-TheIn the proposed framework miniaturized sensors are worn on the body and non-intrusively monitor a person's physiological state. The body vital signs (e.g.: heart rate, temperature etc.) are recorded through the sensor nodes and transmit to the smart phone via Bluetooth, where the data of vital signs is stored and will further transmitted to remote locations if needed.
Abstract-The rapid scientific and technological merging between Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and wireless body area networks (WBANs) have significantly contributed to the advent of e-healthcare. Due to this the quality of medicinal care has also been improved. Specifically, patient-centric health care monitoring plays important role in e-healthcare facilities by providing important assistance in different areas, including medical data collection and aggregation, data transmission, data processing, data query, and so on. This paper proposed an architectural framework to describe complete monitoring life cycle and indicates the important service modules. More meticulous discussions are then devoted to data gathering at patient side, which definitely serves as essential basis in achieving efficient, vigorous and protected patient health monitoring. Different design challenges are also analyzed to develop a high quality and protected patient-centric monitoring systems along with their possible potential solutions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
