A descriptive survey was adopted for the study using stratified random sampling techniques. A self-developed questionnaire served as data collection tool. The data analysis was done using descriptive statistics of frequencies and percentages, while t-test and multiple regression analyses were used to test the hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. Result showed that many of the students both males and females in these colleges still do not have enough knowledge about HIV/AIDS. Misinformation about HIV/AIDS prevention still persists and pronounced among the students despite all the efforts of the national and international organizations.
