We read with keen interest the article written by Mubuuke and Pope [1] titled ''Factors That Influence Radiographers' Decisions to Pursue Postgraduate Education: An Exploratory Qualitative Study,'' which is included in this issue. This article addresses an important area of practice where there has been limited previous research. However, we feel that clarification on a number of points is required. Although this study was undertaken in the United Kingdom, the literature used in the background information focuses on the shortage of radiologists and limited postgraduate opportunities for radiographers in developing countries. This appears disengaged from the research focus, and the relevance has not been made clear.
