This study aims to propose a maturity model and related tools to assess the readiness of Indonesian smart manufacturing companies in dealing with industry 4.0. The development of this model uses a multi-mixed methodology, combining systematic literature study analysis, semi-structured interviews with experts, and surveys to validate the model. The maturity model built consisted of five dimensions and 34 subdimensions of analysis to evaluate the smart manufacturing companies' 4.0 readiness. The main dimensions of this model are Technology, Products and Services, Corporate Operations, Strategies and Organizations, and Human Resources. The model was then tested in 15 automotive component manufacturing companies in Indonesia where the results are presented in this paper. From the test results in the field shows that the maturity model built in its application in the field is quite easy to understand by the company so that it can be used independently to identify industry 4.0 readiness.
The restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the Corona virus have greatly impacted various types of businesses, both large-scale businesses and MSMEs and have indirectly forced business owners to make digital marketing, especially marketing through social media, one of the business solutions in marketing their business. This study aims to determine the use of social media as a marketing medium for MSMEs in the midst of various restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were MSME actors under the guidance of the Cooperatives and SMEs Service, Bandung Regency, which were selected as many as 23 MSMEs using purvosive sampling technique. The research data was collected combining desk analysis and direct observation to MSME actors, interviews with key respondents from the Bandung Regency Cooperatives and SMEs Service, and digital marketing practitioners. The results of the study show that MSME actors have made social media a marketing method in this pandemic era. Marketing using social media is used because it is able to increase brand awareness, facilitate product feedback and marketing strategies, build networks with consumers, suppliers and competitors, but in a more convenient and cost effective manner.
Studi ini bertujuan untuk membahas kegiatan webinar di Politeknik Piksi Ganesha sebagai satu bentuk Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang berpotensi meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat di Indonesia. Pada mulanya, webinar di Politeknik Piksi Ganesha diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa dan dosen untuk melengkapi pembelajaran di era pandemi. Namun dalam perjalanannya webinar ini tidak hanya diikuti mahasiswa dan dosen Piksi saja namun dari perguruan tinggi lain seperti konsorsium dan AIC. Pembicaranya tidak hanya berasal dari dosen internal sendiri, namun juga melibatkan dosen tamu dan praktisi. Webinar di Piksi Ganesha ini dapat dikelompokkan berdasarkan rumpun bidang ilmu, rumpun informatika, ekonomi dan bisnis, dan kesehatan, dan berdasarkan cakupannya meliputi webinar nasional dan internasional. Sampai bulan Desember 2021, telah diselenggarakan kegiatan webinar sebanyak 58 webinar, melibatkan dosen Piksi sebanyak 75 dosen sebagai pembicara dan 55 sebagai moderator, dan juga melibatkan sekitar 60 dosen tamu dan praktisi dari luar Piksi Ganesha. Banyak manfaaat yang diperoleh dari kegiatan webinar ini. Walaupun proses pembelajaran tatap muka sudah bisa dilakukan kembali, diharapkan kegiatan webinar ini masih bisa tetap dilaksanakan.
Open unemployment in DKI Jakarta has been increasing from year to year. The current condition is getting higher during the Covid 19 pandemic. This is a result of the reduction in the formal sector. Facing this problem, the government is obliged to find a solution for the affected community with the presence of Job Creation Law. However, the government's ability to assist job seekers to find jobs according to their competence also faces limitations. Collaboration in organizing training with the private sector and the community to improve the skills of job seekers has not been effective. The idea of measuring the effectiveness of collaboration between parties related to the Quadro helix concept is the main attraction in this study. Quad helix involves local governments, universities, communities, and business actors. This study was conducted using systems thinking and system dynamics approach to describe the effectiveness of stock and flow training conducted by the Central Jakarta Regional Job Training Center.
This research has its aim to study the effect of providing Government-Borne Import Duty facility on the growth and competitiveness of Indonesia's manufacturing industry. The growth of the manufacturing industry is identified with the growth of production, employment, and contribution to state income through taxes. The background of this research is the existence of government's need to find the effect of the provision of exemption from import duties that have been running since 2008 on the ability of companies to produce goods in order to meet consumer needs, competitiveness, employment, and their contribution to state income. The survey was conducted on 110 companies that use this facility in Indonesia. The research applied the statistical method of sign and percentage test with the unit of analysis at the company and target sector, and groups of companies that receive GBID facility with different frequencies. The results show that the provision of the facility significantly increase the growth and competitiveness of Indonesia's manufacturing industry, especially in production growth, the competitiveness of production costs, sales growth, profits, and company productivity. This facility has different effects on companies under different target sectors. More companies under the guidance of Directorate General of MMTEI experinence innovation raising, time-to-market competitiveness, and machine modernization after being given this facility, while more companies under the guidance of Directorate General of CTMI experience production growth, competitiveness raising in production costs, quality, delivery time, sales growth, productivity, human capital, absorption of production labor, and tax payments. The reason related to this case is the existence of difference in production, product standardization, product cycle times, and technological intensity. The results also show that the difference in frequency of facilitation given only affect in rising the competitiveness of the company's products’ price. Related to the nature of production, GBID facility is more suitable to be given to companies that have production plans rather than companies that only do the task based on project or job orders. It is because the companies that have production plan could do the job with more optimal results than those who don’t.
A loan or credit is a form of banking service. The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged the banking industry to implement digitalization in its services, including customer credit services to improve the quality of its services. Bank BJB Soreang Branch already has a digital application for credit services for customers. However, this application does not yet have features that makes it easy for customers to apply and simulate credit calculations by themselves. This study aims to design an information system for submitting and simulating credit calculations by customers at Bank BJB Soreang Branch. To develop this information system, UML diagrams are used as the modeling method and the prototype method as the design method. This android-based system was built using Kodular and FireBase software as the database. The results of this study are in the form of an application designs that can be used at Bank BJB Soreang Branch to assist state civil servants and retirees in applying for and conducting credit simulations independently so that the service for the customer credit application process at Bank BJB Soreang Branch is even better.
