NOTYNauczanie stosunków międzynarodowych w Polsce. Z Krzysztofem Szewiorem 1 rozmawia Łukasz Wyszyński 2 Od początku XX w. stale obserwujemy ewaluację zakresu i rozumienia stosunków międzynarodowych. Na polskim gruncie jesteśmy obecnie świadkami dyskusji dotyczącej miejsca tego kierunku w aktualnym podziale na dziedziny i dyscypliny naukowe. Czym Pana zdaniem jest on dzisiaj? Jakie cechy wyróżniają go spośród innych studiów z dziedziny nauk społecznych?Prawdą jest, że od momentu uruchomienia kierunków dotyczących stosunków międzynarodowych realia kształcenia w Polsce uległy zasadniczym zmianom. Około dwudziestu lat temu, była to na naszym rynku edukacyjnym absolutna nowość, przyciągająca rzesze studentów. Specyfi ka tych studiów została wówczas zdefi niowana w standardach kształcenia, które w opinii politologów były silnie zekonomizowane. Pomimo tegoż obciążenia standardy kształcenia wyznaczane były wówczas przez ramy kształcenia, a ewentualne mankamenty można było dyskontować ofertą specjalności czy zajęć do wyboru. Gdy stosunki międzynarodowe zaczęły gościć w murach polskich uczelni, sposób ich rozumienia i uprawiania determinowały następujące czynniki: typ uczelni, zasoby kadrowe, standardy kształcenia oraz przemiany na arenie międzynarodowej (także globalne). Oznacza to, że np. na uniwersytetach profi l kierunku był bardziej politologiczny i humanistyczny, podczas gdy na uczelniach ekonomicznych sprowadzał się do międzynarodowych stosunków gospodarczych i w wielu przypadkach zastępował prowadzony tam wcześniej handel zagraniczny. Bez wątpienia zakres rozumienia stosunków międzynarodowych był wtedy węższy niż dziś, co wynika chociażby z rozwoju cywilizacji, nowych wyzwań i zagrożeń. Na polskim podwórku w dużej mierze sprowadzano je do relacji pomiędzy narodami i państwami, po czym stopniowo uzupełniano 1 Dr hab.
