O objetivo deste estudo é inserir o transporte público em uma estratégia para avaliação da resiliência na mobilidade urbana diante de uma eventual restrição na oferta de combustível. Considerando como disponíveis apenas os modos ativos e o transporte público, são avaliados diferentes cenários com distâncias máximas possíveis para os modos a pé e bicicleta e de funcionamento do transporte público. As viagens são então classificadas em persistentes, excepcionais, adaptáveis ou transformáveis, sendo as três primeiras categorias apontadas como resilientes. No estudo de caso realizado na cidade de São Carlos-SP, observou-se que a inserção do transporte público, mesmo em condições de mínimo funcionamento, proporcionou um ganho considerável na resiliência: 21,4% no cenário mais pessimista para os modos ativos. A abordagem proposta também permite identificar linhas de transporte público que não agregam novos trechos atendidos ao serem colocadas em funcionamento, o que justificaria a sua não utilização na situação de crise avaliada.
