Os "golpes aéreos" da Aliança pretendem ser, certamente, algo diferente de uma guerra de tipo tradicional. De fato, a "precisão cirúrgica" dos ataques aéreos e o cuidado programático com os civis têm um alto valor legitimador. Significa o abandono da estratégia da guerra total, que determinou a fisionomia do século que chega ao fim. Mas nós, os semi-envolvidos a quem a televisão serve todas as noites o conflito de Kosovo, sabemos que a população iugoslava, que se encolhe sob os ataques aéreos, não está experimentando nada mais do que a guerra.Felizmente, as vozes sombrias estão ausentes na esfera pública alemã. Nenhuma nostalgia do destino, nenhum intelectual a rufar os tambores para os bons camaradas. Durante a Guerra do Golfo a retórica do perigo iminente e a evocação do pathos do Estado, da dignidade, do trágico e da maturação masculina foram ainda alinhados contra o barulhento movimento pacifista. Não restou muito dos dois. Cá e lá, um pouco de malícia contra o pacifismo agora cabisbaixo ou a frase áspera "Descemos das alturas da moral". Mas nem mesmo
O objetivo principal do artigo consiste em discutir se o modelo habermasiano de crítica reconstrutiva é um tipo de crítica imanente. Para isso, procura-se expor e rebater a posição de Rahel Jaeggi segundo a qual a crítica reconstrutiva é antes um tipo de crítica interna que tem um aspecto mais conservador do que transformador. Em vez disso, defende-se que a crítica reconstrutiva habermasiana apresenta traços específicos que configuram um tipo novo de crítica imanente, em comparação com a crítica da ideologia, um tipo mais ligado às práticas sociais e às regras estruturantes dessas práticas.
