Este estudo tem como objetivo descrever quais são os métodos contraceptivos compreendidos no contexto do planejamento familiar, e compreender a assistência do profissional de enfermagem na Atenção Primária à Saúde. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo revisão integrativa de literatura, de caráter qualitativo, realizado por meio da busca de artigos indexados na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), com o auxílio das seguintes bases de dados: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), National Center for Biotechnology Information (PUBMED), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Base de Dados de Enfermagem (BDENF), e Periódicos Eletrônicos em Psicologia (PEPSIC). Os critérios de inclusão compreendem pesquisas de revisão da literatura disponíveis nos bancos de dados descritos, compreendidos entre os anos de 2010 a 2020. Os critérios de exclusão, foram artigos duplicados, incompletos, resumos, resenhas, relato de experiência, artigos publicados em anais de eventos e indisponíveis na íntegra. Para o levantamento dos dados foram analisados 17 artigos. Os resultados do estudo evidencia que, os principais métodos de planejamento familiar ofertados na Atenção Primária à Saúde são: pílula, minipílula, injetável hormonal, preservativo, laqueadura tubária e vasectomia. O enfermeiro tem como atribuição orientar a população quanto ao modo de uso, eficácia, efeitos colaterais, e implicações para vida sexual. Concluímos que, o planejamento familiar está associado à educação em saúde como um instrumento para prevenção de uma gravidez indesejada, o enfermeiro atua como mediador entre o serviço e a população, buscando melhores estratégias para garantia dos direitos em saúde sexual e reprodutiva.
Objetivo: Compreender e revisar a importância da inclusão do homem no pré-natal de suas parceiras em serviços de Atenção Primária à Saúde. Métodos: Trata-se, de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, realizado entre setembro de 2020 a março de 2021, através da busca de artigos nas seguintes bases de dados: Scientific Eletronic Library Online (Scielo), Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Google Scholar, National Center for Biotechnology Information (PubMed), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (Lilacs), Revistas de Enfermagem. Os critérios de inclusão foram, artigos na linguagem portuguesa, inglesa e espanhola, compreendendo os anos de 2007 a 2021. Os critérios de exclusão são estudos mediante a recompensação monetária, e materiais que não possuem relevância com a temática proposta. Resultados: Fica evidente que não é apenas papel da mulher a realização de exames no período pré-natal, assim a política denominada “pré-natal masculino” pretende estimular o pai a frequentar o Serviço de Saúde de forma preventiva, além de estimular o vínculo afetivo entre pai, mulher e filho. Considerações finais: Este estudo demonstrou que os profissionais de saúde devem estar aptos para ampliar o acesso do público masculino aos serviços de Atenção Primaria à Saúde, oferecendo acolhimento, integração nos programas já existentes, facilidade no atendimento, e desenvolvimento de estratégias próprias para este grupo populacional, assim como a inclusão do homem no pré-natal de suas companheiras, possibilitando a criação de vínculo entre pai e filho desde a gestação, além da oportunidade da realização de exames e verificação da situação vacinal.
A epidemia do HIV no Brasil é concentrada em populações-chave. Organizações não governamentais (ONGs) que atuam em defesa dos direitos da população LGBT e de pessoas vivendo com HIV/aids podem contribuir para o desenvolvimento de políticas de prevenção. O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar o envolvimento em ONGs e analisar sua associação com a participação individual em ações de educação em saúde, testagem e prevenção às infecções sexualmente transmissíveis (IST) e ao HIV, como parte de um estudo nacional de vigilância biológica e comportamental entre homens que fazem sexo com homens (HSH). Trata-se de estudo transversal utilizando respondent driven sampling (RDS) em 12 cidades brasileiras. A magnitude da associação do envolvimento em ONGs com cada ação foi avaliada pela estimativa de odds ratio por meio de regressão logística por amostragem complexa, considerando cada cidade como um estrato e ponderando pelo estimador de Gile. Foi estimada a proporção relativa atribuída ao envolvimento em ONGs para cada evento avaliado. Dentre 4.176 participantes, a maioria tinha menos de 25 anos (56,5%) e baixo nível econômico (56,7%). Um quarto dos HSH referiu se envolver em ONGs, que foi significativamente associado com as ações avaliadas: receber preservativo e gel lubrificante, participar de palestra, receber material educativo e aconselhamento em IST, conhecimento de profilaxia pós-exposição (PEP) e profilaxia pré-exposição (PrEP), testagem para sífilis e HIV, ter aceitação do autoteste e saber onde realizar teste para HIV. ONGs têm um papel histórico na resposta à epidemia de HIV no Brasil e, apesar de terem sofrido significativa redução de recursos nos últimos anos, mantêm relevante atuação nas ações de saúde pública.
Objetivo: Analisar a mortalidade materna no estado do Espírito Santo, no período de 2014 a 2018. Métodos: Este é um estudo epidemiológico do tipo ecológico transversal retrospectivo, foi utilizado o Sistema de Informação de Mortalidade para a coleta dos dados nas macrorregiões do estado, pelas variáveis: macrorregião de saúde, ano de ocorrência, faixa etária, cor e raça, escolaridade e estado civil. Resultados: As maiores taxas de mortalidade materna ocorreram em mulheres de pele parda (47.1%), com 8 a 11 anos de escolaridade (39.0%), faixa etária de 30 a 39 anos (44.2%) e solteiras (49.0%). A macrorregião Sul apresentou os maiores números de mortes maternas, sendo 386.1 óbitos por 100.000 habitantes. Conclusão: A mortalidade materna é um indicador da saúde feminina no mundo, por isso é fundamental o reforço da atenção à saúde de gestantes que se encaixam nos grupos expostos, assim como a implementação de políticas públicas direcionadas às gestantes.
Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender as contribuições dos profissionais de saúde frente a educação sexual e reprodutiva das adolescentes. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, com abordagem qualitativa, realizada por meio da buscativa de artigos indexados na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), com o auxílio das seguintes bases de dados: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), National Center for Biotechnology Information (PUBMED), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS). Os critérios de inclusão compreendem pesquisas de revisão da literatura disponíveis nos bancos de dados descritos, compreendidos entre os anos de 2000 a 2020. Como critérios de exclusão, não foram considerados artigos mediante a recompensação monetária, incompletos e não convergentes com este estudo. Após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, restaram 14 artigos cientificos. Os resultados evidenciam a informação e o conhecimento inadequado dos adolescentes em relação às questões de sexualidade e prevenção da gravidez precoce, considerando a necessidade de uma educação sexual mais ampla com espaços de diálogos e discussões de dúvidas das adolescentes, tanto na escola, como no âmbito familiar. Portanto, é de grande importância que ocorra a participação e cooperação dos profissionais de saúde no processo de educação das adolescentes, promovendo o acesso à informações referente à métodos contraceptivos, conhecimento sobre as DST e orientações quanto as consequencias de uma gravidez precoce para a sua vida familiar, na escola ou na vida profissional, repercutindo sobre os projetos pessoais.
