El sacha inchi (Plukenetia volubilis L.) es una planta promisoria que requiere fortalecerse con prácticas agrícolas que garanticen una oferta futura de suficiente volumen en kilogramos por hectárea y calidad adecuada de semilla. El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar el efecto de las podas de formación sobre su rendimiento en el distrito Constitución, Provincia, Oxapampa, departamento de Pasco, Perú. Se aplicó un diseño de bloques completamente al azar (DBCA), con 3 tratamientos y 3 repeticiones. Los tratamientos fueron: (T1) poda con dos ramas, (T2) poda con tres ramas y (T0) control sin poda. Se utilizó el ecotipo pinto recondo. Con un distanciamiento de 3 x 2 m y soporte de tutores. Las podas de formación se realizaron a los 60 días de la instalación en campo. Los resultados muestran que con el Tratamiento T2 se obtuvo 633,89 kg. ha-1 en el primer año y 1901,67 kg. ha-1 al segundo año, superando estadísticamente a los demás tratamientos. Las podas con tres ramasfavorecen el desarrollo de la planta y el incremento del rendimiento en menor tiempo.
La erosión del suelo conlleva a una serie de impactos, dentro y fuera del ecosistema que a su vez se encuentran relacionados con la capacidad productiva del suelo y el agotamiento de los nutrientes. Este documento nos brinda una visión del estado de la pérdida del suelo por la erosión hídrica, enmarcado en un conjunto de indicador es de servicios ecosistémicos seleccionados (ES) que comprenden indicadores de ofer ta y demanda que representan los tres principales categorías proveed oras, regulador as y socioculturales. La elección de los indicadores adecuados y su cálculo se presenta utilizando el ejemplo de la clase ES "estabilización masiva y control de las tasas de erosión" y el "control del agua de erosión del suelo". Los ecosistemas casi naturales a menudo resisten la erosión en mayor medida que las áreas en uso, cuyas tasas de erosión dependen de parámetros naturales y factores relacionados con el uso. El indicador principal, captura el efecto protector de los ecosistemas contr a pérdida de suelo, calculada a partir de la diferencia de las pérdidas anuales y la tasa de ero sión hipotética sin vegetación. El objetivo es mostrar el desarrollo de indicadores con un enfoque de participación de los interesados y adoptar procesos regulatorios que ayuden a contrarrestar los efectos de la erosión en los suelos.
Con el objetivo de evaluar el impacto del manejo agronómico y fertilización intensiva de largo plazo sobre las propiedades de suelos de Pachitea, se realizó este estudio. Se tomaron cinco lotes de la provincia de Pachitea, suelos representativos del tipo de manejo que se realiza en este contexto agrícola. Un suelo virgen o prístino como testigo absoluto (SV), un suelo con menos de 20 años de agricultura tradicional (SAT1), un suelo con fertilización intensiva por más de 40 años (SFI), un suelo con agricultura tradicional entre 20-40 años (SAT2), un suelo con abonamiento orgánico por más de 40 años (SAO) y un suelo de bosque (SB). Se tomaron muestras de suelo de cada lote de 20 cm de profundidad y se analizaron todas las propiedades físicas y químicas de los mismos. Los resultados se analizaron utilizado un análisis de componentes principales (ACP), análisis de varianza (ANOVA) y análisis de regresión. Los resultados mostraron que el uso agrícola de los suelos cambió todas las propiedades físicas y químicas del suelo en el largo plazo. Las características más sensibles fueron el pH y la materia orgánica (MO). La acidez cambiable (AC) estuvo explicado por la presencia de Aluminio (Al) y muy poco por el hidrogeno (H), sugiriendo que la degradación de los suelos es bastante fuerte en este contexto.
