A partir de uma perspectiva interseccional que correlaciona gênero, classe social e raça, desenvolvida por Heleieth Saffioti, e da análise de dados coletados nas estatísticas do Conselho Superior da Justiça do Trabalho (2019) e do Tribunal Superior do Trabalho (março de 2021), o artigo se propõe a retratar o atual perfil da Justiça do Trabalho, de forma a possibilitar uma reflexão sobre a influência da estrutura social patriarcal na sua configuração desigual, e os desafios que se apresentam para a superação das desigualdades de gênero nas carreiras do Poder Judiciário. Por fim, destaca as promessas do Estado Democrático de Direito em vista da eliminação de todas as formas de discriminação e a redução das desigualdades, e conclui pela necessária implementação de políticas públicas pelo Poder Judiciário voltadas a dar efetividade aos compromissos constitucionais para a promoção da igualdade de gênero assumidos pelo Brasil.
