The current investigation focuses on the usage of diferent strategies and learning styles in Music Teaching, by attendance or at a distance, throughout the COVID pandemic. The main question stems from the low rhythmic reading skills verifed in the classroom context, answered by a researchaction. Firstly, the question of if an individual learning style boosts the appearance of blockages to the development of rhythmic reading skills and in which way the implementation of teaching-learning strategies could be a resource to fght such adversities was posed. The following were used as tools for data collection: refexions in pedagogical practice, questionnaires, learning style tests and oral evaluations before and after the implementation of the selected strategies. The adopted strategies led to a fruitful development of the rhythmic reading skills of the students in the studied sample, in which those same skills had been conditioned by individual learning styles.
