Objetivo: analizar e interpretar la influencia del neoliberalismo en el Trabajo Social chileno. Metodología: desde una perspectiva hermenéutica-crítica se interpretan los discursos de profesionales y beneficiarios de programas sociales, articulados con la revisión de antecedentes históricos del Trabajo Social. Resultados: la profesión está aún influenciada por perspectivas conservadoras, expresada en una intervención funcionalista/pragmática, con débil sustento teórico. Conclusiones:se destaca la necesidad de fortalecer la formación teórica-conceptual, definir líneas teóricas en los programas de pregrado y una permanente vinculación entre la academia y el campo de acción profesional. © Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Sociales.
RESUMENEl objetivo central de este trabajo fue analizar críticamente los aportes del Pensamiento Latinoamericano a la disciplina y la praxis del Trabajo Social, concluyendo que existe una profunda conexión entre ambos. Este trabajo ha sido desarrollado en base a la revisión y análisis bibliográfico desde una perspectiva hermenéutica, relacionando texto con el contexto histórico y la práctica disciplinaria. En tal sentido, consideramos que volver la mirada al Pensamiento Crítico Latinoamericano, no sólo es una posibilidad de nutrir de nuevos marcos conceptuales referenciales, para la generación de conocimientos y para la acción transformadora, sino que una necesidad que se inscribe en las propias transformaciones de la sociedad actual. ABSTRACTThe central objective of this study was to analyze the contribution of Latinamerican critical thinking to the discipline and practice of social work, concluding that there is a deep connection between them. This study was developed through a revision of the state of the art and a biblographic analysis from a hermeneutic perspective. Examples are given of the contribution of Latin American critical thinking in a historic, disciplinary and practical context. It is proposed that looking to the Latin American way of critical thinking within social work is an opportunity to nurture new conceptual frameworks to generate knowledge 72 L. KEY WORDS: Social Work, Latin American Critical Thinking, critical conscience, popular education INTRODUCCIÓN Este ensayo tiene como finalidad, comprender críticamente los aportes del Pensamiento Latinoamericano a la disciplinaria y la praxis del Trabajo Social. En particular, lo anterior se plantea como una necesidad de revisar los aspectos epistemológicos y políticos, delPensamiento Latinoamericano, y como ello se podría expresar, en un tipo de Trabajo Social, que disciplinariamente se distancie de la dominación intelectual eurocentrada y norteamericana. Y, en consecuencia, que su práctica, constituya una acción articulada con la reflexión teórica, orientada a la transformación de las diversas formas de dominación y exclusión.Cabe recordar que, el Pensamiento Crítico y su filosofía de praxis liberadora, sufrió una especie de agotamiento e incluso hostigamiento académico y político, producto de las dictaduras militares, y del predominio de la ideología neoliberal, que permeabilizó los diferentes ámbitos de producción material y simbólica (Alemian, 2005; Borón, 2000Borón, , 2006. Durante gran parte de las últimas dos décadas del siglo pasado, se evidenciaba una suerte de relajamiento, si se comparaba con el fuerte impulso crítico de la década de los sesenta y setenta, caracterizado no solo por una prolífera producción intelectual, sino que además la propuesta emancipadora y proyectiva de una sociedad más justa e igualitaria, contenidas en
Objetivo: Reconocer y posicionar la educación popular como sustento paradigmático y metodológico para las acciones desarrolladas en el marco de la salud familiar. Metodología: Análisis de literatura desde una perspectiva hermenéutica crítica, que permite la comprensión de los aportes de los marcos teóricos a partir de una articulación con la experiencia práctica y académica de quien interpreta. Resultados: La salud familiar como modelo de acción reconoce en esta unidad y sus miembros su foco de acción, lo cual requiere necesariamente una resignificación no sólo de lo que ocurre en éste ámbito, sino también una lectura crítica de los paradigmas que sustenta las prácticas desde el sistema de salud y sus agentes. Conclusiones: Se plantea que la educación popular puede constituirse como un paradigma, y a la vez una propuesta metodológica, que ponga como centro de la acción el reconocimiento de la persona como un actor protagonista de su historia y sus prácticas, reconociendo sus saberes y cultura.

El trabajo social chileno post-dictadura Resumen: El supuesto que se plantea para este trabajo sostiene que el Trabajo Social se ha visto dominada por la lógica mercantilista del neoliberalismo, impuesta durante la dictadura cívico-militar en Chile. Desde una perspectiva hermenéutica-crítica se analizan e interpretan los antecedentes históricos del Trabajo Social chileno. Se concluye que la formación y la práctica de la disciplina requieren de una re-orientación, que debe partir de una profunda reflexión histórica crítica y a partir de ello, generar las bases del nuevo proyecto ético-político que oriente el quehacer disciplinario y profesional. It analyzes and interprets the historic antecedents of Chilean social work from a critical-hermeneutic perspective. It concludes that education and practice of the discipline require a re-orientation, which should be based on a profound critical historic reflection and based on this, generate the bases for a new ethical-political project to guide the disciplinary and professional work.
El objetivo del presente trabajo es identificar los elementos fundamentales del Modelo Aprendizaje Servicio (MAS) y su implementación en el proceso educativo universitario. Se sustenta desde una metodología cualitativa, sobre la base de una revisión y análisis documental en relación a definiciones teóricas y conceptuales del modelo. Esto se articula con la experiencia en la Universidad Católica de Temuco, que, asumiendo los cambios que ha experimentado la sociedad contemporánea, se ha comprometido en desarrollar nuevas formas de enseñanza-aprendizaje y, en consecuencia, incorpora en su proyecto educativo la formación basada en competencias. Como conclusión se sostiene que el MAS no solo permite que los estudiantes desarrollen sus habilidades y destrezas técnicas, sino que además posibilita una comprensión crítica de la realidad y una articulación de los conocimientos de diversos ámbitos disciplinares aprendidos en la sala de clases con otros saberes, modos de hacer y formas de aprender.
