Use of organic acids derivated from leonardite in rose crops under greenhouse conditions. Leonardite is an organic fertilizer that is becoming increasingly accepted among farmers because it contains high amounts of humic acids that promote crop production. The effect of the application of leonardite on vegetative and productive parameters of rose (Rosa sinensis cv. Freedom) under greenhouse conditions was evaluated. Three doses of organic acids derived from leonardite mineral were evaluated: low (10 g.bed -1 ), medium (15 g.bed -1 ) and high (20 g.bed -1 ), which were compared with the effect of an organic acid commonly used in the greenhouse (positive control) and with inorganic fertilization (negative control). Spraying was made at the beginning of the trial in an 18 m 2 plot per treatment and the plants were evaluated weekly during five weeks.
