En la década de los noventa del siglo pasado, gran parte de los pueblos originarios de Abya Yala[1], demandan ante sus Estados la creación de un espacio de educación superior propio que puede llamarse Universidad. En el Ecuador, se logra la creación de la Universidad Intercultural de las Nacionalidades y Pueblos Indígenas “Amawtay Wasi”, mediante ley de la república en 2004. Este es uno de los proyectos más emblemáticos del movimiento indígena ecuatoriano, cuyos principales promotores fueron la Confederación de Nacionalidades Indígenas del Ecuador (CONAIE) y el Instituto Científico de Culturas Indígenas (ICCI). Tras ocho años de sobrevivir a las tensiones creadas por un Estado colonial, mediante el argumento técnico-político llamado “Evaluación”, se aplica el “Apartheid Epistémico” cerrando definitivamente la Universidad. A los cuatro años de resistencia ante el atropello y regresión de derechos, el presidente Lenin Moreno ofrece restituir el derecho a la Educación Superior. Efectivamente, en el contexto de un “diálogo” y la reforma de la LOES[2], se recupera la Universidad ahora como “Publica Comunitaria”, la misma que desde la conformación de la “Comisión Gestora” donde hay un solo indígena de sus siete miembros, como proyecto originalmente alternativo, se encuentra atrapado en los tentáculos de la “Colonialidad del Poder”.
La organización simbólica ritual de los pueblos originarios ha sido deliberadamente ignorada debido a que el Paradigma Civilizatorio Occidental y su ciencia lo considera inválida. En este sentido, hemos trazado el objetivo principal de demostrar que es posible recuperar una interpretación filosófica de la organización simbólica ritual del pueblo Kichwa Saraguro.Para realizar este trabajo se usó el Método de investigación y aprendizaje llamado “Vivencial Simbólico Relacional” que se viene usando en la Pluriversidad Amamwtay Wasi. Esto implica recuperar la voz de los sabios originarios Saraguros, aportando con su punto de vista mediante los conversatorios. Estos conversatorios se pueden equiparar con la técnica de los grupos focales. Hemos concluido preliminarmente, en base a la investigación desarrollada, que varios principios filosóficos originarios que regían el Tawantinsuyo, se encuentran presentes y vigentes en el Pueblo Kichwa Saraguro, así, por ejemplo: la existencia de una organización simbólica ritual pariversal/dual, la vigencia de los elementos Hanan y Urin en la organización ritual-territorial y la vigencia de un calendario agrofestivo y lunisolar
Frente a la arremetida cultural de los modelos occidentales impuestos por el Estado ecuatoriano, que privilegia una sola forma de vivir y de ser, este estudio analiza otros caminos y formas de comprender la comunicación y la radio comunitaria, desde lógicas locales de luchas para reivindicar los espacios culturales identitarios. Bajo estos criterios, el cultivo y crianza de sabidurías hace un recorrido por la historia de “Radio Ilumán”, sus características comunitarias y participativas, y cómo estas, se articulan para incidir en la sostenibilidad económica de este medio, sin sacrificar el bienestar de sus promotores, ni la naturaleza comunitaria de la radio. El estudio genera insumos para que “Radio Ilumán” mejore sus procesos de acercamiento y horizontalidad con la comunidad, empoderamiento de la audiencia respecto a la radio con expresión en propuestas de sostenibilidad social y económica. De esta manera, se logró constatar que radio Ilumán es un medio de comunicación comunitaria e indígena que en sus programas promueve el fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural de los pueblos kichwas de la provincia de Imbabura.
En la historia ecuatoriana los movimientos sociales desde siempre han jugado un papel determinante en la vida política y social del país, sin embargo, su lucha y contribución han quedado invisibilizadas en las agendas de los medios de comunicación comerciales, violentando así el derecho constitucional de los pueblos originarios a una comunicación legítimamente incluyente. De allí, que este estudio tenga como propósito evidenciar el estado actual de la comunicación que se articula desde la Confederación de Pueblos de la Nacionalidad Kichwa del Ecuador – ECUARUNARI, como pilar fundamental del movimiento indígena ecuatoriano, en aras de fortalecer desde iniciativas propias, procesos de comunicación interculturales. Los resultados del estudio tienen como fuente importante un diagnóstico que profundizó en la manera que se configura la comunicación institucional e intervienen los públicos internos y externos, como parte constitutiva de una estrategia que sostiene el derecho que tienen los movimientos sociales del Ecuador a ejercer la comunicación en condiciones de igualdad y horizontalidad.
Esta investigación ha identificado las actitudes del estudiantado universitario respecto con los factores asociados con la felicidad. Se trata de una investigación cuantitativa sustentada en un diseño descriptivo con la participación de 237 estudiantes universitarios (59,5 % mujeres) de la Universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense. Se aplicó una escala factorial que mide la felicidad, asociada a factores como sentido positivo de la vida; satisfacción con la vida; realización personal; y alegría de vivir. Resultado confirman que las actitudes del estudiantado sobre la felicidad son positivas (M=100,77; SD=16,07) con una confiabilidad alfa de Cronbach’s de 89,5%; en los factores asociados a la felicidad los estudiantes alcanzaron actitudes positivas en relación con la media teórica: sentido positivo de la vida (MT=33; M=42,10; SD=8,35); satisfacción con la vida(MT=18; M=23,02; SD=4,28); realización personal (MT=18; M=20,32; SD=4,40); y alegría de vivir (MT=12; M=15,31 SD=3,01). Se concluye que las actitudes hacia la felicidad y sus factores asociados esta presente en el ámbito educativo, por ello, es necesario el empoderamiento y el asesoramiento psicopedagógico de cara a la formación profesional del estudiantado.
