Ansiedad y depresión, dos síntomas muy comunes presentes en la adolescencia, situación que genera múltiples retrasos académicos, afectivos y conductuales. La migración, disfunción familiar, embarazos prematuros, desórdenes alimenticios, conflictos familiares, falta de habilidades sociales, enamoramientos, etc., son factores determinantes que marcan la personalidad del adolescente. Estos efectos provocan constantes cuadros de depresivos, tristeza, baja autoestima, síntomas alarmantes que se desencadenan en un fracaso escolar decisivo. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo controlar la ansiedad y depresión en adolescentes de una Unidad Educativa Fiscal de la ciudad de Riobamba, que cursaron el noveno año de Educación Básica, edad comprendida entre 13 y 14, dichos adolescentes son hijos de madres solteras, de hogares disfuncionales, han atravesado problemas emocionales, discriminación y maltrato. mediante la aplicación de una guía psicopedagógica de talleres de relajación, esquema corporal y creatividad. Se utilizó instrumentos de investigación como el cuestionario, la encuesta y guía psicopedagógica que permitió evidenciar un antes y un después, mejorando el desempeño académico y las relaciones personales y afectivas dentro y fuera del aula. Mediante la aplicación de estos talleres se pudo lograr que los estudiantes se relajen con facilidad, predisposición al trabajo, motivación, autoestima elevada, capaces de controlar sus emociones y utilizar su esquema corporal, como una herramienta de interacción cognoscitiva, observándose notoriamente cambio de conductas, hábitos y mejor desempeño académico.
La lectoescritura es considerada como la actividad educativa fundamental a cumplir durante la etapa preescolar, específicamente en Inicial II. Un elemento fundamental en esta etapa de la vida es el desarrollo de la conciencia fonológica como expresión de habilidades relacionadas con el aprendizaje de la lectoescritura. El objetivo del estudio fue describir el desarrollo de la CF en estudiantes matriculados en Inicial II en la Unidad Educativa La Providencia de la ciudad de Riobamba, provincia Chimborazo, Ecuador durante el periodo 2020-2021. Para esto se realizó una investigación básica, descriptiva y transversal que incluyó a los 17 estudiantes matriculados en educación Inicial II. Se aplicó el Test de Habilidades Metalingüísticas como instrumento para identificar el desarrollo de la conciencia fonológica. Los principales resultados muestran un promedio de estudiantes en niveles deficiente (35,29%), elemental (23,53%) e intermedio (23,53%). La capacidad para unir fonemas y para contar fonemas fueron los subtests que menor porciento de estudiantes con nivel alto alcanzaron, solo el 17,56%. La segmentación silábica fue el subtests con mejores resultados alcanzando un promedio de puntuación de 0,79; mientras que el de menor puntuación fue el relacionado con la capacidad de contar fonemas que alcanzó una puntuación media de 0,61. Se concluye que existe un escaso desarrollo de la CF en la mayoría de los estudiantes. Se identificó la capacidad de contar fonemas y la adición silábica como los subtests en los que mayor número de dificultades se pudieron identificar.
La disgrafía constituye un trastorno en el cual no se puede realizar la escritura de forma correcta, el mismo se asocia frecuentemente a otros elementos como son la presencia de dificultades en el cálculo o la lectura. Elobjetivo de este estudio fue identificar la presencia de disgrafia y sus causas en estudiantes de tercer año de educación general básica de la UE Pedro Vicente Maldonado. Para estose realizó una investigación básica, descriptiva y con enfoque mixto que incluyó 90 estudiantes. Se aplicó una encuesta para conocer las características generales de los estudiantes y las posibles causas que inciden en la aparición de la disgrafia. Para identificar la presencia de disgrafía se utilizó el test de TALES. El coeficiente de correlación de Pearson fue utilizado para identificar relación entre variables. Los principales resultados muestran promedio de edad de 7,24, predominio de estudiantes masculinos (61.11%) y de procedencia urbana (74,44%). La disgrafía se presentó en el 22,22% de los estudiantes; sus principales causas estuvieron relacionadas con poca atención y acompañamiento por parte de los padres o tutores legales hacia los niños(as). Se concluye que se identificó una correlación negativa considerable entre el acompañamiento de los padres y la presencia de disgrafia
El uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones es considerado como recursos y herramientas tecnológicas cuya utilización en el sistema educativo aporta beneficios a pesar de que aun su implementación es insuficiente. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo dar a conocer la importancia del uso de las TIC como estrategia educativa en beneficio del aprendizaje significativo. Para esto se realizó una investigación básica, no experimental, de corte transversal en 20 docentes universitarios de la carrera de Educación Inicial de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación Humanas y Tecnologías de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo; se aplicó una encuesta para obtener información relacionada con las características generales de los docentes y elementos relacionados con el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones. Los principales resultados incluyen promedio de edad de 41,76 años, predominio de docentes masculinos (70,0%), entre 2 y 5 años de experiencia en docencia (55,0%) que utilizan diariamente el servicio de internet y que consideran que estas técnicas ayudan al aprendizaje significativo (85,0%). Se concluye que el uso de las TICs por parte de los docentes aun es irregular e insuficiente, a pesar de las claras ventajas que ofrece su utilización en la generación y consolidación del conocimiento en los estudiantes
El proceso educativo en edades tempranas de la vida se basa en la adquisición de habilidades y destrezas. La lectoescritura es considerada como la actividad educativa fundamental a cumplir durante el inicial 2. El objetivo del estudio fue implementar una intervención educativa, basada en la aplicación de metodologías activas, en el aprendizaje de la lectoescritura de estudiantes de inicial 2 de la unidad educativa Vygotsky. Para esto se realizó una investigación aplicada, con un diseño cuasi experimental en la que la población estuvo constituida por los 31 estudiantes, se aplicó una prueba diagnóstica (pretest) al comenzar la investigación y después de terminar de implementar la intervención educativa (postest). Se utilizó la prueba no paramétrica de McNemar para determinar el efecto causado por la intervención aplicada en el nivel de habilidades, destrezas y conocimientos relacionados con la lectura y la escritura. Los principales resultados muestran un promedio de edad de 4,75 años, con predominio de niños (61,29%). Predominaron durante el pretest niveles medios de conocimientos (51,61%), habilidades (51,61%) y destrezas (48,39%) en la lectura y niveles medios de conocimientos (45,16%), habilidades (48,39%) y destrezas (51,61%) en la escritura. Durante el postest aumentaron los porcientos de estudiantes con niveles altos de conocimientos habilidades y destrezas tanto en la lectura como en la escritura y disminuyeron los porcientos de estudiantes con niveles bajos. Se concluye que la intervención educativa aplicada provocó cambios positivos en los niveles de habilidades, destrezas y conocimientos de los estudiantes investigados.
