MétodoRevisión sistemática.Aproximadamente el 40% de la población presenta obesidad, la dislipidemia es frecuente en pacientes con esta patologíaa causa de una vida sedentaria y un consumo de alimentos hipercalóricos, Latinoamérica presenta 6,7 millones de niños con emaciación, los déficits de micronutrientes corresponden al hierro (43%), yodo (30%), vitamina A (29%) y zinc (17%).Las principales alteraciones nutricionales por exceso en la población adulta son la obesidad y la dislipidemia, mientras que en niños las alteraciones por déficit son la desnutrición y los déficits de micronutrientes.
