No presente artigo propomos a transcrição de duas obras para Canto e Violão da compositora nacionalista Dinorá de Carvalho (1895-1980), assim como a revisão dos procedimentos utilizados. As obras escolhidas fazem parte da 1° fase composicional das canções para Canto e Piano, ao qual predomina a utilização de ostinatos e caráter de Acalanto. Para a adaptação técnico-instrumental ao violão adotamos os apontamentos sobre transcrição de Daniel Wolff e Pedro Rodrigues, aliados aos trabalhos desenvolvidos em torno da temática idiomatismo, propostos por Scarduelli, Fernandes e Godfrey. Para complementação das argumentações utilizadas, os conceitos de Intentio Operis e Superinterpretação propostos por Umberto Eco foram utilizados no decorrer do texto, assim como na concepção geral que promovemos sobre a obra. A dissertação de mestrado de Flávio Carvalho perpassa por todo o trabalho como material essencial de consulta.
