RESUMO O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de determinar o potencial fungicida de substâncias alternativas no controle do fungo Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, causador da antracnose em caju. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado em esquema fatorial 5x6, sendo cinco óleos essenciais (Palma Rosa, Cravo, Canela, Lemongrass e Alecrim) em seis concentrações (0, 100, 200, 400 e 800 μL L-1), com cinco repetições. As avaliações foram realizadas através de medições do diâmetro das colônias (média de duas medidas diametralmente opostas), com auxílio de um paquímetro, a cada 24 horas até a testemunha atingir totalmente a placa, fato observado após 48 horas da repicagem. Os óleos essenciais de canela e cravo nas concentrações de 400 e 800 μL L-1 apresentaram eficiência no controle do fungo Colletotrichum gloesporioides.
