OBJETIVO: Descrever a experiência de residentes de psicologia do Programa de Atenção Integral a Saúde da Mulher e da Criança da Universidade Federal do Pará, na atuação em UTI Pediátrica com criança em crise asmática severa. METODOS: Este estudo foi desenvolvido em um hospital de referência no nordeste do Pará. O procedimento utilizado foi o relato de experiência, a partir da metodologia do Arco de Manguerez em suas 5 etapas como caminho para a discussão proposta. RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO: A internação hospitalar em UTI pediátrica é caracterizada por diversos fatores psicológicos, tanto desencadeantes como decorrentes da enfermidade, discussão amplamente apresentada na literatura. A atuação dos profissionais de psicologia em equipe multiprofissional deve pautar-se pela comunicação clara e coerente com pacientes, de acordo com seu estágio de desenvolvimento, assim como com os cuidadores/responsáveis, considerando-os como sujeitos ativos. Este trabalho permitiu observar a educação em saúde como um artifício decisivo para o fomento da autonomia no processo saúde-doença e no cuidado compartilhado entre os níveis de atenção e os usuários que percorrem a rede. CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS: Observa-se a importância do trabalho do psicólogo nesse contexto, principalmente na busca de construir uma ponte de diálogo entre equipe e família/paciente.
Introdução: Com o avanço tecnológico, principalmente no que tange à informática, os jogos eletrônicos tornaram-se cada vez mais populares, sendo uma das mais importantes atividades de lazer para crianças e adolescentes, aumentando a preocupação de pais e educadores com os efeitos deletérios dos jogos eletrônicos no desenvolvimento de crianças, adolescentes e jovens. A inclusão do Transtorno do Jogo Pela Internet na CID-11 revela a necessidade de pesquisas aprofundadas sobre a temática, demonstrando a relevância social e cientifica para todos que se interessam pelo tema. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho questiona as consequências do uso excessivo dos jogos eletrônicos online por adolescentes e as implicações em seu desenvolvimento psicossocial, pois acredita-se que o uso prolongado dos jogos eletrônicos online pode causar prejuízos à saúde e ao bom desenvolvimento. Objetivos: Avaliar as consequências do uso excessivo dos jogos eletrônicos online no desenvolvimento comportamental, cognitivo, emocional e biológico dos adolescentes. Material e Métodos: Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica, a partir da revisão de literatura sobre jogos eletrônicos e adolescência. Foram incluídos materiais de pesquisa quantitativa ou qualitativa, revisão bibliográfica, estudos de caso, livros e Trabalhos de Conclusão de Curso. Resultados: A revisão e análise da literatura acerca do tema considerou para elaboração dos resultados três itens: a) o perfil dos adolescentes que jogam online, b) as implicações do uso excessivo dos jogos online, e c) transtornos mentais associados ao uso excessivo de jogos online. Sobre o perfil do jogador, compreende-se que estes são em maioria do sexo masculino e correm maior risco de desenvolver problema de saúde mental, pois passam a maior parte do dia utilizando essa ferramenta. Com relação as implicações do uso excessivo desse jogos e os possíveis transtornos, constatou-se que o uso prolongado de jogos eletrônicos online pode fazer com que o jogador apresente sintomas e um possível diagnóstico do transtorno do jogo pela internet. Conclusão: O uso excessivo de jogos eletrônicos pode potencializar muitas habilidades importantes na adolescência; no entanto, seu uso prolongado pode acarretar prejuízos nas áreas cognitiva, emocional, biológica e comportamental, podendo acarretar o desenvolvimento do transtorno do jogo pela internet.
