El artículo analiza los posicionamientos de la dirigencia sindical en el contexto de instalación internacional del gobierno militar considerando especialmente la participación argentina en la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT). En esta revisión se refutarán empíricamente los análisis que sostuvieron que la actividad sindical se vio suspendida por la magnitud de la represión y de las intervenciones contra las organizaciones obreras. Por el contrario se pondrá en evidencia la intensa actividad desplegada por la dirigencia sindical peronista en 1976, y se analizarán sus posicionamientos y expectativas en torno al gobierno de facto.
ResumenEn este trabajo se analizan las interpretaciones clásicas en las Ciencias Sociales sobre las transformaciones vividas por las organizaciones sindicales durante el gobierno cí-vico militar autodenominado "Proceso de Reorganización Nacional" que gobernó el país entre 1976 y 1983 con el fin de identificar aspectos problemáticos que las mismas legaron al campo de estudios.A partir de allí se cuestionará su utilización actual y se señalarán temas desatendidos que debieran ser considerados para una nueva síntesis sobre los efectos que tuvo la restructuración social vivida durante la última dictadura.palabras clave: Sindicatos, Dictadura Militar, Argentina.
AbstractThis paper examines classical interpretations in the field of Social Science of the changes experienced by trade unions during the self-named "Proceso de Reorganización Nacional" military government which ruled the country between 1976 and 1983. This aims to identify problematic areas which have been passed on to this area of study.Its current use shall then be questioned and neglected issues that should be considered will be highlighted in order to build a new synthesis on the effects of the social restructuring experienced during the last dictatorship.
Reconociendo que existe una variada serie de definiciones sobre qué son los sindicatos que han circulado asociadas a corrientes políticas o a destacados teóricos dentro del marxismo, este artículo se propone poner en discusión los desafíos que presenta una conceptualización no siempre integrada y consistente, recorriendo las obras de los autores clásicos y algunos de los aportes fundamentales del cuerpo teórico construido por el marxismo. Con ese objetivo, en el artículo se revisa cómo fue entendido el origen y las tareas de los sindicatos para Marx y Engels; cómo esas conceptualizaciones fueron apropiadas y reinterpretadas por los marxistas del siglo XX, presentando también las aproximaciones más actuales que permiten entrever una síntesis en los desarrollos teóricos sobre las organizaciones obreras. Se busca sobre todo realizar un balance a partir de un inventario que permita desplegar las herramientas que esta corriente posee para pensar las organizaciones obreras y dejar planteado un mapa de ruta para futuras indagaciones.
