O presente estudo apresenta como proposta central caracterizar o perfil dos acadêmicos que ingressam à Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul (UFFS), Campus Laranjeiras do Sul, Paraná, no curso Interdisciplinar em Educação no Campo. Partindo das especificidades da criação dessa Instituição e visto que se trata de um curso voltado à educação do campo e sua importância em estar instalado nesse campus, localizado dentro do Território Cantuquiriguaçu, que tem como característica a forte presença da agricultura familiar e camponesa. Curso este cujo objetivo principal é formar profissionais capacitados para atuarem nas escolas do campo. Para traçar esse perfil utilizou-se como base uma pesquisa de campo, que teve como local de aplicação a UFFS, Campus Laranjeiras do Sul. Nessa pesquisa foram aplicados 47 questionários aos educandos matriculados nas quatro primeiras fases do curso, buscando conhecer o perfil socioeconômico e acadêmico. A partir disso, verificam-se dois aspectos relevantes: por um lado a instituição vem cumprindo o seu papel em atender as reivindicações populares, priorizando o processo de expansão da educação superior pública e gratuita a uma região e população historicamente esquecida, e, por outro, um problema enfrentado pelo curso: a evasão.
This article aims to present some reflections and controversies in concern of capital crisis as a globalized systemic crisis and its consequences for social struggles resistances of the leftist spectrum. To this end, we propose a brief mapping of social struggles in Brazil during the coronavirus pandemic that proved to be significant, either because they were actions proposed by historical popular organizations of the Brazilian left, or because they unexpectedly caused an impact due to their mobilization capacity. We will analyze two expressions of social struggles: those promoted by social campaigns consolidated in the post-re-democratization period and the popular revolts that emerged from the June 2013 journeys.
