Resumo Neste artigo procuro discutir a abordagem teórica utilizada na pesquisa desenvolvida no doutorado, a saber, um estudo sobre os efeitos da colonização, da memória da escravidão e do racismo na subjetividade e nas relações afetivas de mulheres negras integrantes da Rede de Mulheres Negras da Bahia. Para atender a esse objetivo, utilizei como metodologia a análise de trajetórias, entrevistei mulheres integrantes da referida Rede que desenvolveram suas trajetórias da década de 1970 até a atualidade, um período de grande movimentação política da população negra em busca de reparação, que vem resultando em importantes conquistas de direitos. Ao emergir de reflexões da pesquisa desenvolvida no mestrado em História Social e da minha experiência de mulher negra, este tema convoca teorias e referências que ultrapassam as barreiras disciplinares, pois as experiências são complexas e plurais.[1] Este artigo constitui parte do resultado de uma pesquisa desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos Étnicos e Africanos (UFBA), em nível de doutorado.
O Movimento de Mulheres Negras em Salvador emerge com características interseccionais. Isso quer dizer que essas mulheres se organizam em torno dos principais eixos de opressão: gênero, raça, classe e região, destarte não organizaram um movimento único, mas sim grupos de mulheres em torno de demandas relacionadas a comunidades/bairros. Entretanto, não atuam de forma isolada, esses Grupos e Coletivos dialogam e, ao mesmo tempo, garantem a discussão sobre a condição da mulher negra em todo o território baiano. O movimento de mulheres negras reconhece a importância do Movimento Negro Unificado (MNU) e do Feminismo Negro, mas afirma a sua especificidade ao se configurar como um movimento de base, pautando a opressão sexista e o empoderamento das mulheres negras, associando teoria e luta coletiva.
