REsUMEn En este trabajo interesa describir la construcción de la Quebrada de Humahuaca (Jujuy, Argentina) como lugar turístico a lo largo del siglo XX y en la actualidad. Para ello se recurrirá a diversas fuentes y fundamentalmente al análisis de imágenes en folletos oficiales y de difusión masiva y en publicaciones de fomento turístico que promocionaron este territorio y destacaron los variados atractivos que se identificaban en cada momento como relevantes. Esta reconstrucción descriptiva desembocará en el período posterior a la Declaratoria como Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la Quebrada de Humahuaca por parte de la UNESCO con el fin de contrastar lo expuesto con expresiones sobre el turismo y la Declaratoria por parte de diversos actores sociales vinculados con la Quebrada de Humahuaca con el fin de distinguir continuidades y rupturas de conflictos y problemáticas sociales.
Cada vez más la comunicación pública de la ciencia se afianza como una actividad primordial en el quehacer científico, no solo para reducir las distancias entre el sistema científico y la sociedad, sino también para contribuir con la apropiación social del conocimiento generado. Las diferentes plataformas mediáticas se erigen como espacios privilegiados para ese vínculo comunicativo en virtud de su masividad y capacidad de promover intercambios multidimensionales. Este artículo reflexiona sobre las particularidades, alcances, problemáticas y posibilidades que se presentan en la tarea de comunicar ciencia a través de redes sociales. Para ello se analiza la experiencia de un proyecto editorial de comunicación pública de la ciencia, Jujuy científica, a través de la sistematización de los resultados obtenidos en sus plataformas mediáticas. Se examinan distintas variables que hacen a la perfomance de las páginas de Facebook y Twitter de Jujuy científica entre mayo de 2020 y diciembre de 2021, con el propósito de hallar indicios sobre la receptividad de los contenidos publicados y el engagement por parte de la comunidad que las redes sociales propician. Las variables consideradas son la cantidad de seguidores, el alcance de las publicaciones y las distintas formas de interacción con la audiencia, siguiendo metodologías de análisis de redes sociales mediáticas. Los resultados indican que las redes sociales imponen sus propias lógicas por lo que el desafío no solo es comunicar ciencia correctamente, con contenidos específicos y accesibles desde y para las plataformas, sino además superar los obstáculos propios de la mediatización en redes.
El problema de investigación de este trabajo indaga en las páginas de la red social digital Facebook que se diseñan como agregadores de memes digitales, caracterizados por hacer confluir un conjunto relativamente discernible de estilos discursivos, tópicos y usos, atravesados, en este caso, por referencias ancladas en la jujeñidad. Desde una perspectiva de análisis micro de las mediatizaciones y con el aporte de la hermenéutica, se exploran y caracterizan rasgos predominantes en la construcción de significación de memes jujeños entendidos éstos como género y micro-discursos sociales. La unidad de análisis está comprendida por un conjunto de páginas-agregadores de Facebook, relevados durante el primer semestre de 2021, unificados en la tendencia de producir y/o agrupar memes que interpelan a la jujeñidad. El análisis permite discutir aquellas referencias asociadas a adscripciones identitarias, socioculturales y políticas ancladas en el contexto de la provincia de Jujuy, Argentina, desde los sentidos propuestos por la propia comunidad, en tensión con aquellos sentidos normativos y prefijados con los que los sectores hegemónicos asociaron históricamente el ser-local.
