Intervention "Connect" was independently associated with improved self-reported resilience to risky sexual behaviors, though not with a reduction in those behaviors in multivariate analyses. This is the first Internet-based intervention designed to reduce HIV/AIDS sexual risk among Mexican adolescents.
El presente estudio determina la percepción de satisfacción de los estudiantes en el uso de la simulación clínica como técnica de enseñanza y aprendizaje para el desarrollo de la competencia? “Cuidado? de? enfermería”? La? metodología? consistió en un diseño cualitativo, la muestra fue no probabilística, a través de un grupo focal integrado por ocho estudiantes del cuarto semestre de la Licenciatura de Enfermería en la Universitaria Autónoma del Carmen. Se elaboró la entrevista semiestructurada de acuerdo al modelo de Miller para la evaluación de las competencias profesionales. En los resultados, los estudiantes refirieron que la simulación clínica es una excelente estrategia de aprendizaje que les permite integrar la teoría y práctica sin dañar a terceros, afirmaron que el contacto previo con la simulación clínica mejora el pensamiento crítico, refuerza los conocimientos, habilidades, destrezas, toma de decisiones y la ética profesional. La integración de esta metodología, mejora el desarrolla de la competencia clínica “Cuidado de enfermería” En conclusión la Simulación Clínica es un método de innovación docente de gran interés, que se debe aplicar en los planes de estudios de Ciencias de la Salud, debido a su eficacia como estrategia de aprendizaje en la formación de estudiantes de enfermería.
Introducción: La narrativa para enfermería es una estrategia que se presenta como una manera deobtener conocimiento sobre los cuidados de enfermería. Tiene como objetivo comprender los aspectossubjetivos de una situación relacionada con la pérdida de su recién nacido de una madre, visibilizandola relación entre la persona cuidada y la enfermera. Desarrollo: La narrativa expone la situación de unamujer joven primigesta que pierde a su recién nacido, la experiencia vivida por la paciente genera unarelación de cuidado con la enfermera responsable. Discusión: La situación de enfermería se analiza a laluz de la teoría de las relaciones interpersonales de Hildegard Peplau, así como con los patrones deconocimiento propuestos por Carper. Conclusiones: El momento de cuidado se identifica con las cuatrofases de la relación enfermera paciente propuestas por Peplau, que tienen como punto de partida laorientación y continúa con la identificación, explotación y resolución.
La formación para el cuidado de enfermería ha tenido una evolución de más de 100 años en América Latina, resulta importante indagar los aspectos subjetivos de esta formación lo que permite visibilizar la complejidad de las vivencias en el proceso de construcción y reconstrucción del conocimiento en estudiantes. Objetivo: comprender los aspectos subjetivos que envuelven la adquisición de saberes y prácticas en la formación de profesionales de enfermería. Metodología: estudio cualitativo de diseño fenomenológico. Resultados: Se obtuvieron dos categorías de análisis La práctica clínica como momento de autocrítica y reconocimiento y La brecha entre la academia y el campo práctico.
La soledad es un aspecto psicológico que no ha sido ampliamente abordado en el consumo de alcohol en estudiantes universitarios de México. Objetivo: determinar la relación de la soledad y consumo de alcohol en jóvenes universitarios. Métodos: estudio fue correlacional, la muestra final fue de 288 estudiantes universitarios de tres carreras de una Universidad Pública de Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, el muestreo fue por conveniencia. Se utilizó el Cuestionario AUDIT y la Escala de Soledad de UCLA. Resultados: La edad promedio fue de 18.32 (DE=2.1) años, el 52.1% fueron mujeres y el 53.1% fueron estudiantes de ciencias de la salud. El 30.2% presentaron un consumo sensato de alcohol, 34% consumo dependiente y el 35.8% un consumo dañino. El consumo dañino es mayor en estudiantes del género masculino y del área de ingeniería (p=<.05). Las mujeres presentan mayor puntuación de soledad que los hombres (p=<.05). La soledad se correlacionó con la sumatoria del AUDIT (rs= .329, p= .001). Conclusiones: El consumo de alcohol fue superior en hombre y en estudiantes de la carrera de ingeniería, las mujeres reportaron mayor soledad y los estudiantes que perciben mayor soledad presentan mayor consumo de alcohol.
