Objetivo: Este estudo objetivou desenvolver e avaliar usabilidade e satisfação um aplicativo para smartphone (App) que facilite a triagem e o acompanhamento de sintomas emocionais e fatores associados à saúde mental de universitários. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, com aplicação de questionários por Google Forms® entre alunos do curso de medicina de um Centro Universitário, entre julho de 2020 a novembro 2021. Após uso do App desenvolvido por uma equipe multiprofissional, os alunos responderam a dados clínico-demográficos, uma versão em português da escala de usabilidade do sistema (SUS-System Usability Scale) e um questionário sobre a satisfação com o aplicativo. Resultados: O App, disponível para plataformas Android e iOS, continha 32 questões autoaplicáveis de escalas validadas no Brasil sobre depressão, ansiedade, estresse, insônia e sedentarismo (Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale -DASS-21, Insomnia Severity Index -ISI e International Physical Activity Questionnaire -IPAQ). Ao término das respostas, forneciam-se interpretações baseados nas pontuações obtidas, incluindo orientações sobre quando buscar ajuda profissional e conteúdos educativos. 31 alunos responderam aos questionários de usabilidade e satisfação após testarem o App. A idade média foi de 25,2 anos. 16,1% tinham diagnóstico prévio ou atual de transtorno depressivo, e 41,9% de ansiedade. O valor de escore médio da escala SUS foi de 84. Todos os alunos ficaram satisfeitos com o aplicativo, e o recomendariam a outro colega. Conclusão: Houve boa usabilidade e satisfação, sugerindo potencial de triagem e monitoramento do App de transtornos mentais entre estudantes de medicina.
O Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 (DM tipo 2) é uma doença crônica e de alta prevalência, sendo considerada uma epidemia global. Todavia, quando adequadamente tratada, pode ser bem controlada e ter as complicações minimizadas. A utilização de tecnologias digitais surge como um potencial instrumento para auxiliar o ensino sobre essa doença tão prevalente, ainda mais no cenário de uma educação centrada no aluno, mais intensificada no período de pandemia do novo coronavírus. O presente estudo, transversal, descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, tem como objetivo desenvolver e avaliar a facilidade de uso de uma plataforma digital como ferramenta para ensino de estudantes de medicina sobre tratamento medicamentoso e complicações microvasculares de diabéticos tipo 2. Para a elaboração da plataforma digital foram adotados pressupostos adaptados de Echer (2005) e foi avaliada a sua usabilidade, através da Escala de Usabilidade de Sistema (System Usabillity Scale - SUS), entre estudantes de medicina do Centro Universitário Christus. Foram obtidas 45 respostas. Participaram alunos de diferentes semestres, 93,3% já tendo cursado a disciplina de endocrinologia. A aplicação recebeu boa avaliação de usabilidade, obtendo escore SUS médio igual a 82,9, com desvio padrão de 13,8. Em conclusão, a plataforma digital para ensino sobre tratamento e complicações do Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 teve boa avaliação entre estudantes de medicina, podendo ser usada como um instrumento para ensino dessa área da endocrinologia na graduação em medicina.
Objetivos: Avaliar repercussões psicológicas e a percepção de preparo para atuar no atendimento a pacientes na pandemia de COVID-19 entre estudantes de medicina de Fortaleza-CE, Brasil. Metodologia: Trata-se de estudo transversal, analítico, de dezembro de 2020 até fevereiro de 2021. Estudantes de medicina do pré-internato e internato de três escolas médicas brasileiras preencheram voluntariamente um questionário online sobre dados sociodemográficos, percepção de risco pela pandemia COVID-19 e sintomas de estresse pós-traumático avaliados pela Impact of Event Scale (IES) em sua versão brasileira validada. Todos assinaram termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido. O estudo foi aprovado no Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa das Instituições. Ao comparar grupos, utilizou-se testes de Spearman e Kruskal Wallis, com erro alfa menor que 5%. Resultados: 94 estudantes participaram, sendo 60,6% do sexo feminino e 86,2% de universidades particulares. 53,3% tinham percepção de alto risco de contágio com o vírus e 40,2% relataram qualidade de sono insatisfatória. A pontuação média da IES dos participantes foi 14,8 +/- 5,78, demonstrando que houve um impacto estressante. Houve associação do escore da IES com percepção do risco de contágio, qualidade do sono, tipo de universidade e acompanhamento psicológico. Conclusão: A pandemia do Covid-19 gerou impacto estressante nos estudantes de medicina avaliados, com associação significante com percepção do risco de contágio, qualidade do sono, tipo de universidade e acompanhamento psicológico. Esses fatores são importantes para futuras intervenções psicológicas entre estudantes.
Currently the environmental area is receiving greater attention. It is important for the understanding of our existence as part of a natural system and our responsibility under the same. This work presents the DigiAtlas application based on this theme, it features on a digital map, environment, abiotic and biotic data, and allows the management of these data. New data collected in the application can be shared, allowing the exchange of knowledge between users. The application was developed for mobile devices and can be used as a research tool, and teaching and learning in classrooms or field activities, including multidisciplinary way.Resumo. Atualmente a temática ambiental está recebendo grande atenção devido a sua importância para o entendimento de nossa existência, como parte de um sistema natural e de nossa responsabilidade sob o mesmo. Este artigo apresenta o aplicativo DigiAtlas com base nessa temática, ele apresenta em um mapa digital dados ambientais, abióticos e bióticos, além de permitir o gerenciamento desses dados. Novos dados coletados na aplicação podem ser compartilhados permitindo a troca de conhecimento entre os usuários. O aplicativo foi desenvolvido para dispositivos móveis e pode ser utilizado como ferramenta de pesquisa e de ensino-aprendizagem, em salas de aula ou atividades de campo, inclusive de maneira multidisciplinar.
