Objetivo: Verificar se existe relação entre os dados contábeis e a satisfação dos usuários relativos à política de transporte sobre trilhos na Região Metropolitana de São Paulo (RMSP) pela análise de informações de demonstrativos contábeis e da satisfação dos usuários das empresas públicas Companhia do Metropolitano de São Paulo (Metrô) e Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitano (CPTM), de 2010 a 2017.
Metodologia: Os dados das Demonstrações Contábeis e da Satisfação dos Usuários obtidos dos sites das empresas e da Associação Nacional de Transportes Públicos (ANTP) são comparados no time line do Metrô e da CPTM de forma descritiva em Tabelas e Figuras e de forma explicativa com a correlação de Pearson e a Regressão Multivariada.
Resultados: As análises corroboram as críticas de que a falta de investimentos e dos valores do Ativo e do Resultado Econômico Anual (Prejuízo) no sistema de transportes sobre trilhos na Região Metropolitana de São Paulo estão na base da crise de mobilidade urbana que afeta diretamente as classes menos favorecidas de forma que as classes sociais mais baixas da população que reside nas periferias da RMSP recebem considerável menor montante de investimentos e piores níveis de satisfação pelo serviço prestado.
Contribuições do Estudo: Qualifica, com dados oficiais e de pesquisa de satisfação, a gestão e a qualidade do serviço ofertado pelo Metrô e pela CPTM como principais gestoras do serviço de transporte público da RMSP, a maior concentração de pessoas do hemisfério sul do globo.
Uma diversidade de fatores influencia na restrição da aproximação das pessoas com os equipamentos de cultura, que é um direito de todos. Nesse sentido, este artigo coloca-se com o objetivo de colaborar com o debate da ampliação do direito à cidade e, mais especificamente, à cultura, utilizando como caso de análise a cidade de São Paulo. Para tanto, as análises se dividem em duas vertentes: uma de métodos quantitativos baseados em técnica de geoprocessamento; e outra de métodos qualitativos, especialmente análise bibliográfica e observação direta. Os resultados indicam a presença marcante dos desertos culturais nas periferias da cidade, onde também se estabelecem as iniciativas não institucionais de cultura, como formas de resistência e alternativa a eles.
