Delors’ report (1988) has a worldwide proposal for schools to fulfill a missiono f adapting to four pillars: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together and learning to be. From Delors’ report, here called the contemporary education project, it can be observed that the new current school education settings have been preparing young people and adolescents for the job market and to develop skills for coexistence, group and teamwork, to later develop these skills along with professional work activities. It is convenient to analyze this generalist proposal and its impacts in Brazil, as well as whether this report would be directly related to school violence. Therefore, this essay proposes to critically reflect on it based on psychology and two techniques (listening and working with groups) that the psychologist has for a comparative analysis of models.
