1980, especificadamente quando se trata do Carcinoma de Células Escamosas (CCE). A neoplasia anal se inicia quando a zona de transformação começa a se proliferar, sofrendo modificações no seu epitélio. Os principais fatores de riscos associados ao CA são a exposição ao Papilomavírus Humano (HPV), imunossupressão relacionada ao Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana (HIV).OBJETIVO: Considerando o rápido avanço científico na área de virologia e a necessidade de atualização dos profissionais de saúde, o presente trabalho, procurou por meio de uma revisão de literatura discutir o impacto da coinfecção do HIV e HPV no câncer anal. MÉTODOS: Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura com abordagem descritiva e qualitativa. Foram utilizados como critérios de inclusão: artigos publicados nos idiomas inglês, português e espanhol, com recorte temporal entre os anos de 2017 a 2022. Foram estabelecidos como critérios de exclusão: artigos repetidos, que não abordaram a temática do trabalho e que não corresponderam ao recorte temporal. RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO: A infecção por HIV aumenta a contaminação por HPV porcausa da imunodepressão, contribuindo para o aumento do desenvolvimento de tumores associados ao HPV/HIV. Desta forma, pacientes com histórico de tratamento inadequado de HIV têm maiores chances de HPV persistente, contribuindo com o crescimento da neoplasia anal. CONCLUSÃO: Portanto, os incentivos públicos que trabalhem prevenção e educação, principalmente focando nos benefícios do uso de preservativo sexual, vacinação contra HPV e uso correto de fármacosantirretrovirais poderiam diminuir tais agravos.
INTRODUÇÃO: O câncer de mama é um dos mais prevalentes na população feminina, sendo indicada a realização de uma mamografia de rastreio para mulheres de 50 a 69 anos a cada dois anos, e caso apresente alterações nesse exame, faz-se necessário a realização de exames complementares para que um diagnóstico preciso seja estabelecido. OBJETIVO: Descrever as principais metodologias que podem ser empregadas para análise de biópsia mamária. MÉTODOS: Trata-se de uma revisãode literatura, onde foram pesquisados artigos publicados entre os anos de 2014 a 2022 nas plataformas SciELO, PubMed e LILACS. Foram aplicados os descritores “Biópsia de mama” e “Metodologias de coleta” com uso do operador booleano AND. Inicialmente, foram encontrados 21 artigos e, após aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, totalizaram-se 9 artigos incluídos na pesquisa. RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO: Biópsia é um tipo de procedimento onde uma pequena quantidade do tecido é removida para que seja feito um estudo anatomopatológico. As metodologias empregadas incluem a punção aspirativa por agulha fina (PAAF), punção aspirativa por agulha grossa, biópsia excisional, biópsia do linfonodo sentinela e análise citológica da descarga papilar. Todas essas metodologias possuem suas vantagens e desvantagens, sendo necessária uma avaliação do estado clínico do paciente, tamanho e localização do tumor para a escolha da melhor metodologia. CONCLUSÃO: A mamografia é o exame de rastreio para lesões de mama suspeitas de malignidade e as metodologias de biópsias são aplicadas para confirmar a presença ou ausência de lesão neoplásica. Existem diversas metodologias que podem ser aplicadas, entretanto, devido à praticidade,baixo custo e sensibilidade, a PAAF é a mais empregada por fornecer bons resultados quanto à diferenciação de lesões malignas ou tecido inflamatório.
