O presente artigo tem como objetivo mapear, a partir de um levantamento bibliométrico, a área de gestão de marca na base de dados Spell, analisando quem são os principais autores, Instituições de Ensino e periódicos que publicam sobre o tema. A metodologia utilizada constitui-se de um estudo descritivo e exploratório com a análise dos 50 artigos encontrados foi realizada na base de dados do site Spell, em fevereiro de 2017, e levou às seguintes descobertas: predominância de artigos com métodos qualitativos; a maior parte dos artigos foi elaborada por dois ou três autores; não houve número expressivo de publicações por autor sobre o tema; a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS é a IES de destaque na produção científica; maior parte dos artigos da amostra foram produzidos no ano de 2015; a Revista Brasileira de Marketing é o periódico destaque em publicações; o Valor de Marca é o construto mais utilizado, relacionado com o tema Gestão de Marca; apenas 01 artigo dos 50 da amostra possui instrumento de coleta de dados. A partir do estudo presente, conclui-se que, a criação da gestão de marca, portanto, é a principal estratégia de negócio, utilizada como componente chave do marketing empresarial, aliada aos desejos, necessidades e à promessa de satisfação, contribuindo expressivamente para os fatores essenciais da relação de interdependência marca-consumidor.
